The Oasis Inn is the best budget hotel we’ve yet found in the vicinity of Bangkok’s Bumrungrad Hospital. (The hospital, world-famous as a ‘medical tourism’ destination, is less than a block distant. My wife and I have had our annual check-up there every year since 2008.) The Oasis is a 24 room, two star hotel on a quiet side street.... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Oasis Inn for a 3 day weekend trip to Bangkok. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on a room but we wanted something better than the $15 a night hotels you can find in Bangkok. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. It was very loud. Our first night the... More

Terrible, from the bed sheets covered with blood stains to the staff shouting (yes, shouting) at each other since early morning. Location is fine, 10 minutes walking from Phloen Chit BTS station. Rooms are so so, but not properly clean. No elevator and no one willing to take your suitcase up to the room. Hard if not impossible to pay... More

I booked two days at standard room. The room is clean fulfilled with all the basis needs, I couldn't find dryer but able to ask from the staff. Receptionist and all the staffs are very helpful. They allow me for early check in and late check out as i have requested. They have mini library and provide a lot of... More

We stayed for One night at Oasis Inn after a Two year gap. It is still the BEST place to stay if you are in Bangkok to visit the Bumrungrad Hospital. We have stayed here 3 times before. I had booked the cheapest room but yet the room was big with everything we need..AC, Wifi, TV, Fridge, Microwave and a... More

Already had my repeated stay in the same hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly, rooms and public areas are clean and tidy. The only issue was the intermittent wi-fi connection due to the location of my room ***. Overall a very pleasant experience. If you prefer a home-stay style place in the middle of city centre (only 5 minutes walk... More

Real nice friendly hotel, nice room 1F twin bed, hot water,TV, Free WiFi and a small balcony. I like the sty even if it was one night but I sleep good no noise can recommend it. Near to Bumrungrad Hospital like 60 meter round the corner.

The convenience to Bumrungrad Hospital and the friendly, helpful family that run this hotel make it a great place to stay. It is downtown within easy walking distance from the Sky Train terminal. I have used this hotel frequently and would recommend it for anyone looking for good, clean, simple, and affordable accommodation in Bangkok.

If you are looking for a cheap and good hotel next to Bumrungrad, then Oasis Inn is the perfect choice. I decided to stay there as I had to see doctors at the hospital and the hotel is literally behind the hospital, not even a 1-minute walk. I paid 1,200 bath per night and I found the price very reasonable.... More

I had to take my aging mother to Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok for surgery. While she was admitted, I had to find a place to stay. The Oasis Inn is just around the corner. The staff was friendly and efficient, and my room was clean and comfortable. There was even a little private covered patio out back. I thought it... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
