I stayed for three nights. I actually live in Bangkok but wanted to see the area the hotel was in. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet but there were only five people staying on my floor. The room was large. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
But the impression I got was the hotel was not maintained very well. In the room and public areas there was quite a bit of chipped and peeling paint. The sheets had small holes in them. Parts of the grout in the bathroom was black. But the room was kept generally clean.
I did eat breakfast at the hotel. . It was good. The hotel has a restaurant. But It appears the only restaurants within walking distance are at the Bangkapi Mall.
But for the price it is a good hotel.

We stayed here for two months. If you want to explore Thailand don't stay on Sukhumvit stay here in the suburbs with the people of Thailand, transportation is easy, just hop on the Klong boat across the street. The room is just as we wanted, hot shower with plenty of water pressure. The beds and linens are clean and and comfortable, 5 STAR. The staff at Pantip our fantastic! If you call and request anything, ANYTHING! It will be delivered to your door within minutes. I cannot say enough about the staff other than they are terrific!

Overall you get what you pay for. This is a budget hotel and you will get a budget experience. The staff is very friendly but if you need a taxi we recommend going down 15 minutes early because it will take some time for them to get a taxi willing to take you most places in the city. The room was decently clean however we found several insects in the room…we suspect they came in through the vent in the bathroom but we would find at least one a day. The room service is very hit or miss. When it is available the Green Curry is excellent. We called on a few occasions during regular business hours and were told the restaurant was closed…after calling the front desk they restaurant would magically be open. We also had multiple issues on pricing we would be charged verses prices on the menu. Very frustrating. Overall the experience wasn’t bad but it we wouldn’t say it was good either. Just average.

The staffs are extremely warm-hearted and helpful all the time. When I get trouble in calling taxi or suggestion on travel tips, they are all nicely and patient to help me through. The location is convint, by 5minutes walk can reach the biggest shopping mall in bangkapi, and lotus and markros are nearby

The location of this hotel is not ideal, at least for now. Even though it seems to be conveniently close to the airport (just a little north of Hua Mak station of Airport Rail Link line), this little, no matter by bus or by taxi, will take you at least 20-30 minutes, depending on the traffic. The main reason for that are the massive road construction works going on in the area, which, when finished, will probably change the situation a lot for better.
But other than that the hotel is quite OK. Located in a shopping center, it looks and feels quite well. Rooms are spacious and clean, service is good, beds are comfortable, the area is not unpleasant, there is a brand new huge shopping mall just 10 minutes away and a big food market just on the streets, surrounding the hotel.

In the part of main road now are under construction for electric railway line. It would be finished in the next two-three year. After that this area would be more convenient for tourists and local people as it would be easy to travel to airport or other areas in Bangkok. Hotel is situated in a shopping complex 5 minutes walk form the impressive Bang Kapi Mall. The lobby is at the back of the building so if you are walking, you would need to walk through the shopping area. Has the unusual practice of taking 500Bht deposit in cash. Rooms are huge, air conditioning is cold and nice but my room had no hot water. A friend in another room also said she didn't have hot water in her shower. Hand soap was a bit stale/old. Room had tea and coffee and 2 bottles of mineral water.
Breakfast buffet was not great, almost same (and limited) menu throughout my 4 day stay. They didn't have a vegetarian option although one of the kitchen staff was kind enough to make a special vegetarian dish for my friend.
Hotel is located next to a wet market. At night the road in front of the hotel is filled with vegetable stalls, it is quite an experience to walk along the road late at night looking at all the exotic vegs. The jetty is about 5-6 minutes walk away, taking the khlong boat to Bangkok city centre is highly recommended.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff I met during my week-long stay in January 2019, when I was met with friendliness and warmth at every turn.
Impeccable cleanliness of my room, spacious and extremely comfortable, with efficient air conditioning and a kettle to make myself a drink when I woke in the middle of the night from jet lag!
I have only one suggestion to improve the hotel, and that is to ask the coach drivers to park on the far side of the steps to give more space to people like me who aren’t part of a coach group.
I didn’t test the restaurant because my son lives nearby so I was taken to lots of different places to eat.
Whilst it’s true that the hotel isn’t on top of a public transport system, taxis are incredibly cheap, and the hotel called a driver to the door which was really useful, so no inconvenience there.
I’m looking forward to seeing you all again at the end of April!
