Stayed here many times now and love the relaxed atmosphere. It's in a great location for the local night life but situated down a quiet soi, so there is now disturbance. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. Well worth a visit.
We stayed here for 3 nights on our way to Phuket and admit to being a bit put off by the outside when we arrived but it is a total gem inside.Staff were excellent, clean and especially the great breakfast every day.
This is a great choice if you want to stay around the nightlife areas of soi cowboy, Nana plaza and soi 22. It's small but has nice rooms a free breakfast and fantastic staff, I have stayed here three times in the last month and will certainly be going back on my return to Bangkok.
It is a budget-friendly small hotel in a small quite alley so don’t expect to have a grand reception like a 5-star but they do have rooms of a 4-star and friendly, helpful staffs will treat you 5-star. Breakfast is plate-in with freshly brewed coffee and nice toast bread feels very homey. Location is very convenient with 7-Eleven, massage parlours, laundry shop, exchange outlets and restaurants close by and 10-minute walk to BTS, MRT and Terminal 21 the reason why we booked a 3-night stay and will definitely come back in the future.
We ( myself, wifey & my 3 year old daughter ) stayed there from 9th - 12th June 2019. This place is tucked away from the main street but has many good restaurants offering thai, Indian and european cuisines in the vicinity. Ashoka BTS / MRT stations are 5-7 mins walk and Terminal 21, an upmarket shopping mall is close by. Interiors are tastefully done and charming. Breakfast options are good. But can start earlier. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable with spacious bathrooms. Water in the shower could be hotter. Hotel scores high on cleanliness. There is free wi-fi and a common lounge area. All in all, a very comfortable stay, a great value property, we will definitely be back.
Having stayed here for 2 nights, on my way back to London, I would really recommend this hotel. Great location, 50 mtrs from Sukhumvit, Skytrain, Asok station very close. The staff were some of the best I have ever encountered, rooms very clean and tidy and the breakfast was really good, freshly cooked with a very good choice of items.
This is a great little hotel. It's clean, the staff is super nice, and the location is premium. Breakfast has a good selection. The rice congee is the best I've found. Most anything is in walking distance including the skytrain and subway. I' ll be staying here again.
Pros: clean, about an 8 minute walk to the Asok MRT/Sukhumvit BTS station, 10 minutes to the Terminal 21 mall, near lots of money exchange places, owners are really friendly, free breakfast with 4 different choices (e.g., toast with jam and butter, orange juice, coffee, sausage, eggs, bacon, English muffins, even pad thai (though without the shrimp and pad thai sauce, but still tasty), quiet since it's at the end of a dead end street, no ambient light pollution, don't have to cross busy traffic since there's multiple bridges going over the streets leading to the metro, 2 complimentary waters in the mini-fridge, complimentary coffee making kit Cons: beds were extra firm (which I like, but I know most don't), air conditioning is linked to the keycard-electricity activation slot - so if you leave, it turns off and you will return to a hot room, water pressure was a little weak, at the end of a narrow dead-end street so it's difficult to park (do not rent a car if you're staying here), charge you for stained towels (first time I've seen this), $25 if you lose your card key Final verdict: For the price you can't go wrong. Far enough away from the action for a quiet nights rest, a short walk to the stations to go anywhere in Bangkok or do some shopping at Terminal 21…
I would fully recommend this place if your just looking for a cheap and clean room, there’s no pool and though there is a makeshift garden on the top floor, it’s not very inviting. Service was good and the location is spot on, always stay near asoke BTS as this is the most convenient place in BKK. I would stay again, breakfast was served to you on your table in sets which was actually quite nice. Rooms are on the smaller side but perfectly adequate for a single/couple.
Return visit. Have frequented both properties (18 and 20) about 5 times in the past 5 years or so. Consistent quality. Good-sized room with tea/coffee and fridge. Bed is firm, in case that's an issue. Quiet and very convenient location. Decent breakfast with various options. Helpful staff. Good value. Would stay again.
