We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel for two nights. Really a very good location just in the middle of Bangkok main skytrain and metro stations which makes a perfect way to reach all the destinations. I can add that the personell was very friendly and helpful, especially the owner who helped us with recommendations about Bangkok and...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is very clean, the rooms and the toilet are very big. The AC is good as weel. The Wi-fi doesn't really work on the rooms the most of the time. The staff is also sweet and the location is good. The only bad thing i can say about it is the price...

In the heart of the city,so easy to walk out the door and access to shopping malls, bars and girls close by,the light rail at your convenience and all transport there . You can get to whatever you want to from this hotel. If you only want to sleep, shower and go this is a good cheap place to stay, not the Ritz...

Well to find a place to stay in Bangkok, especially in Sukhmvit area is like fishing in a huge sea. With so many option in such a wide range, its always excess of choice and I did a pretty good research before zeroing on this property. I can say with confidence this is a perfect place from almost all the...

The hotel Darjelling is the perfect deal for people looking for cheap accommodation but in the center if sukhumvit. Located next to asoke station it's really easy to go anywhere. The Mrt station is literally in front of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable but be carefull as there are some rooms without windows that might be less comfortable. Highly...

Stayed here for 4 nights in March 2016, And we were shocked when entered the building ! The elevator does not work mostly and looks dangerous. The rooms are dirty and different types of insect can be found in the rooms. The owner is a Lithuanian guy who is tired of hoteling and doesn't care much about problems. When I...

Booked a Room on the web and when I got there the hotel was sold out. They booked a room they didn't have. They took me around the corner to their "partner" hotel and tried to charge me the same amount of money for the new hotel saying I had to honor the reservation even though the new Hotel was...

Do manage your expectations. This isn't a 5-start hotel by any means but if you're the type that spends most of your time on holiday out of your room, it serves it's purpose. The rooms are clean which is paramount and everything works. There are no frills so don't expect a shaving kit, complimentary water etc. There is a soap...

Let's be honest, if yo're staying on this part of Sukhmvit you're not looking for 5 star. This hotel is cheap, clean, quiet and handy for the local attractions. If you're staying for a couple of nights I'd recommend it. Most of the negative comments seem to come from people who are expecting too much from a budget hotel. If...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
