Darjelling Boutique Hotel is conveniently located in Sukhumvit close to Asoke BTS and Terminal 21 shopping mall. The room was as described and clean but the need for renovation or freshening up of the hotel start to kick in. Great location close to restaurants and plenty of nightlife venues, all within walking distance. WiFI worked without any problem. Overall a...

Darjelling is where I'll be staying in future when I head to Bangkok, a trip I need to take every few months or so. Only a 2min walk from Asok BTS station and the Sukhumvit subway, it's the ideal location to get anywhere in the city. The room was entirely adequate, clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great...

Place seemed very dated and the lifts smelt and were so slow. I think it was ok value for money but expect more from a hotel in the centre of Bangkok. Big plus was the location. Only a few steps from Sukhumvit and everything it has to offer

Another stay for us. Comfortable on the budget. Very comfortable beds. This location by Soi 18 gives easy access to the sky trains and the underground from Asoke station. The staff is always friendly and accommodating

I booked at Darjeeling based on the website and the facilities it stated it offered. Particularly the Restaurant / breakfast and location. While the location was great the rest was horrible! To begin with I was coming in late from Korea and I was extremely tired and hungry, so I double checked the website and sure enough it stated a...

We stayed at this hotel a few years ago when we were last in Bangkok and were well satisfied, however this time around we noticed that in general things were looking a little tired, never the less given its very central location so close to everything including Asok bts station and quiet comfortable rooms combined with a very reasonable budget...

The location of this hotel is nice. Within walking distance then you would reach sky train, foods, clubs & bars, nightlife, and chic department store like Terminal 21. However, the hotel is not appropriately maintained. You could notice how it's dirty in the room when you started to move things out from their places. During my stays, the rooms nearby...

This hotel is so close to all you will need on your stay in Bangkok. It is not a us spot but hell for a clean bed shower and a brew then relax after your day out. This hotel is QUIET , very close to transport. Including light rail. So close to shopping centres, in fact all you want. A...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
