Stayed here for a night as part of our test and go. While most things were fine, two things worth mentioning are:

- Despite what it says on the remote, the air con in our room had basically two settings - “Off” and “High”. As a light sleeper, this made it very difficult to sleep (not a problem for all but definitely worth mentioning).

- I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their money on a room with a balcony, unless you only intend to use it for brief moments whilst smoke. Not only does the balcony face a brick wall only a few feet away, but it is also enclosed by two air conditioning unit exhaust pipes on either side.

Booked a trip from 5-8 January 2023 with my girlfriend. Really enjoyed our stay in Arte Hotel. Staffs were very helpful with our requests and they are all very attentive to us. Clean and cozy room with balcony. Thumbs up 👍🏼

I traveled to use the Arte Hotel.
I saw that during the discount period Which I feel very good.
Then this hotel has a very beautiful swimming pool Especially at night You come to use the service It is worth it to see the great Bangkok view. Go swimming, see the city lights.
The only thing is that this hotel is in the center of the city where there are very traffic. The time to travel or go anywhere is long, almost 1 hour before reaching. Which I feel is not okay and want to find a way to improve this matter, I hope.

The hotel looks lovely in the pictures posted by the hotel but don’t get fooled like us we stayed here as part of test and go and arrived Christmas Eve. You were only allowed to order food in the room even after you were released from the isolation. When we have contacted the hotel prior of booking they said everything it’s ok and they have a bar next to the pool side and you can dine in the hotel the only thing they didn’t mention is that you will have your food delivered in your room in plastic containers as the only place you spend time was in your room. The pool side bar was closed you were not allowed to take any drinks up there. The rooms are not bad in size but there is mould around the air conditioning units and in 3 days that we have stayed there nobody came to clean our room. I completely understand that they can’t come in while we were expecting the test results but after ? Overall not the best experience and we would definitely not stay here if we ever visit Bangkok again.

We rented a 2 bedroom suite for our one night stay in Bangkok on Dec 22nd 2022. The maintenance in this hotel is utterly disgraceful.

Every room has broken lights and is dark and dim. The wallpaper was peeling, revealing a poorly finished, cheap and bad construction quality.

The master suite bathroom was small and cramped. The shower was a hose attached to the bathtub faucet with no dedicated separation between the shower and rest of the bathroom. Dare shower in there and you will end up with a bathroom absolutely full of water due to the overspray.

The other bedroom had a dedicated shower, which was completely broken. The showerhead bursted water out the sides of the showerhead, not allowing a proper shower. It also leaked into the room behind through the glass pane as that had not been sealed properly.

The maintenance at this hotel is non-existent. Almost everything in the room is completely broken, including light switches, aircon controls and the TV.

Most of the gym equipment is in OK condition, not great. Only a matter of time before it, too, goes downhill. The gym is also way too small and features light dumbbells only, and one cable machine which is in questionable condition, also.

For the cost of $230AUD via Agoda per night, I will not be returning. I have made my concerns known to the reception at the hotel but I do not expect it actioned upon as per usual in Thailand. Nothing gets fixed.

Hard to fault the location, a few minutes walk from BTS Asoke but quietly tucked away on Sukhumvit 19. Full marks also for the genuine friendliness of the staff. The room is clean and spacious enough and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, if lacking the finer touches of a 5 star establishment. Breakfast is adequate with enough choice to get you going for the day. Great to be able to open the doors to the Juliet balcony when in need of a whiff of Bangkok’s fresh air. 😉
Some good cafes )eg; WWA, and a 7-11 pretty much next door.
This hotel seems to be popular with Thais and other travellers from the region, but seems to be off the radar of western farangs. Not sure why. It’s a sound choice if you are looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable and friendly bolt hole in this part of town.

Lovely hotel in good area of Bangkok....facilities are top class with roof top pool very appealing. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Room was spacious and had all we need....only slight negative is everything closes up around 7.30pm such as the bar and pool area but this seems fairly standard in Thailand. Overall great value for money.

Thank you to this property for their kindness. I booked with this property in February 2022 and somehow I couldn't join the property due to troubles with my visa. However, the property was so kind that they told me that I can use my booking whenever I want to use. I joined this property after a year after my booking made and the experience this place offered was just so amazing.

I came with my sister and both of us had a great time. It is located at the centre of sukumvit and you have access to almost everything by foot. Terminal 21 is just 5 minutes walk from this property.

Thank you

Stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. I would say that the amenities, cleaniness , deco etc. had more or less met my expectations, with probably a few pts which can be improved, if possible: 1) It was abit tricky to operate the shower faucet as it takes a while for the water to turn warm. I later learnt that I need to turn the faucet all the way to the left 1st & let it flow for a while before the water turned hot & I can then adjust the warmness of the water. 2) The hotel has been arnd for quite some yrs, so the furnitures & deco looked slightly aged, but not really an issue for me. 3) Agree with some of the below reviews that there are rooms for improvement for the sound proofing of the room. I can basically heard the laughters from the rooms of both sides everyday. 4) The gymm is quite small & rudimemtary. But don't think this is an issue for most ppl. I only used the threadmills & the other equipment sparingly for 3 days. Can't commemt on the restaurant as I don't dine in there. I don't have any issue with the housekeeping at all, since my room was kept tidy clean allthe time. Contrary to some reviews below, I personally find that the staff are polite & helpful. Suspect it could be due to miscommunication between guests & staff. The top attraction pt which I guess most ppl can agree with the hotel is its fantastic location. Within 400m to Asoke BTS, which is excellent for me as I tend to take it a lot. Otherwise, there's a motorcyc station besides the nearby T21, & Sukhumvit Soi 19 is a busy rd where lotsa taxis passes by too. Therefore, transport is a breeze. Saw 1 review below which criticised the traffic. LMAO, errrhh, we're talking abt Bangkok city right? Where there's a jam almost everywhere right LOL. Anyway, Asoke is known to be 1 of the most crowded places beides Silom, therefore the traffic there was never ever gd, so if this an issue for u, then u might consider other places or juz take alternative public transport like me. Overall, my stay there was really fine, & I wouldn't hesitate to choose the hotel for my next trip to Bangkok as long as the pricing remains competitive.

Are there any rooms with good city views?
Answer from David F
7 contributions1 helpful vote
I wouldn't say so, but there are good views from the seating area around the rooftop pool. There are both low rise and high buildings all around. There are rooftops and gardens to look down on as well as views towards more distant tower blocks including the MahaNakhon (the one that looks as though it's got bits missing.

The hotel just 5 Min from asoke station. For train, u may need to transit at phetchaburi station.i suggest you to take Taxi from airport. The fare for train and taxi are about the same if travel in group. enjoy your travel in bkk.
