I needed to find a hotel for a two-week quarantine. I thought by spending more I could have a better experience. But it was a very difficult two weeks for me. My biggest problem was the quality of the food, it was not good and the portions were small even for Asia. I mentioned that I had several fruit allergies, but was served those fruits multiple times through my stay. I even mentioned this to the Food and Beverage director when I had a chance to speak to him because the food was a problem. Nothing was fixed, I requested fruit only for the morning of my checkout. And all the fruit was what I’m allergic to. Other problems to note. The previous guest’s underwear was still in the drawers..which I concerning because of the Covid situation and that this is supposed to be a hotel for quarantine. Shower was broken on arrival, I managed several showers because I luckily had tape in my luggage. Honestly I wish I had stayed at the cheapest ASQ option, there is no benefit for paying more to stay here. I really don’t like writing negative reviews. But this isn’t a situation you can check out of if the service isn’t up to par. This was my personal experience, but I absolutely hated my stay here.…
I checked many options before booking and prices were all low becat of the times. We chose this hotel and check in was very nice we even got a free upgrade which was awesome. Rooms are clean and ours was spacious. The downside that annoyed me is that because of COVID and low occupancy on arrival we were told there is no breakfast buffet. We can select from tow options of set menu (very basic) and it will come to the room. Nothing on the options are things we like. I asked for simple toast and cheese. We got it but toast was dry and cold obviously and cheese was so little. We booked a room with breakfast, this should be advised before. Or not charge me for breakfast as it increases the price of the room a lot. It's a 4* hotel, should behave like one. Just because we're one of the only guests doesn't mean we should get anything less than what they are used to providing. …
Arte Hotel is a modern hotel a few blocks from the ASOS subway and the Terminal 21 Mall. It is also a block away from the the famous Cowboy road. Staff was very nice and the breakfast was good with a variety of options.
Spacious rooms. Bathroom was an interesting layout and after showering, left everything wet. Mostly clean except for some stains on the wall. Great location to the metro. Didnt end up using the pool but it looked very nice.
We stayed at Arte Hotel for 2 nights in December 2019, and had a great stay. Main attractions was the location - SUPER central and a 2-3 minute walk to large shopping mall - Terminal 21. Check in was quick and efficient. We were given a smoking room - which was a little poky compared to our friends on the same floor who were upgraded to a suite which was huge and far superior, but we were happy with our little room which was comfortable and big enough for 2 quick nights, and was what we had booked (not the smoking room though). Clean with crips cotton linen and towels. The breakfast was really amazing - extensive, fresh with Asian and Western offering - only complaint was that some of the hot food was a little cold but as they were fully booked, with many Asian guests, so it might just have been bad timing for us. Great coffee too. We didn't have other meals at the hotel as we were out. Roof top hotel pool and bar were really spectacular with incredible city view - especially at night. Location was AMAZING, literally a 2-3 minute walk from Terminal 21 which is a huge shopping mall which so much on offer. Sadly, we didn't have too much time to shop but managed to squeeze in 2 visits because it was so close. The mall has a basement food hall, not great, BUT definitely try the Gaucho Argentinian restaurant next door which was sublime - best burger we've ever had, best carpaccio (and we've been to Argentina) - it was fantastic. Right next to the hotel is a Beer Garden where we had a really authentic Thai dinner - nothing fancy but exactly what you want in Bangkok - cold jug of beer and real Thai food (big Western menu for the kids too). Check out was efficient. It was good value for money too.…
