After a long flight the hotel is at first a blessing. However after one or two nights it's lovely to just escape! Although we expected noisy on khao San road, the hotel is right above the street and our room only three floors up, this meant you could not get any peace until after about 0400am. The staff in the... More

This hotel is in an amazing location and is perfect for backpackers who don't want to stay in a hostel. The downside is the room is small and very noisy till early hours in the morning. If you don't want to go out clubbing this is not the hotel for you.

Our room was a double room and was a basic room and just what you would need for Bangkok. It had air conditioning, fridge and safe in the room. The bedroom was very clean which is most important for me and my boyfriend. The hotel itself is on Khoa San road and was very loud at night. When you do... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. We really enjoyed staying this hotel because it was in kaoshan road where you can enjoy the street food cooked by the local, shopping , drinks, massage, restaurant and if you need a dentist there's plenty around and it's very cheap. The hotel is clean , very friendly staff.

The location is great, in the middle of Khao San Road. The receptionists seem to dislike their job, or their clients. Or both. Totally unfriendly and not helping whatsoever. The standard rooms are very small. Showering in the toilet and wetting the complete bathroom is not ideal. You'll hear loud music all night, but if you don't like that, you... More

Great service, friendly staff. Comfortable beds, easy to use airco, 2 bottles water free on a daily base. Fridge in the room. Allthough on the middle of the busy Khao San Road, we didn't experience any noise what so ever!

This is a hotel which is on Khao San road, so you don't miss out on any of the parties that happen here. - Nice roof top pool to relax. - Rooms are decent. - Horrible WiFi - Staff were Normal not too friendly no too harsh. - Cafes and cheap food and booz are availble just outside the hotel.

The location is very convenient. At the entrance of the building you can find a money changer on the right, and a 7-Eleven on the left. Move forward and you'll find a travel agency where you can book tours and transportation to the airport(I forgot the name but I booked my tours here). Move forward and you can find Illy... More

2nd time staying at this hotel, very quiet despite being on what is known as party central in bangkok, staff were welcoming however felt the manager was slightly power-tripping when there was a slight mix-up as she stood behind the nervous staff at the counter. I would advise the hotel to do something about the con-men in tuk tuks outside... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
