I had a great time at the spinning bear hostel. They were very helpful and nice from the first second to the very last. Very spacious and excellent atmosphere. The rooms are clean and fresh with air condition. The hostel is located in the calm part of the city, but if you want to get to the centre you can just take a boat in the river/canal that goes through the city. Thanks for everything Im! Take care!

Do you have a problem with your bike? That's your place. Do you need some acommodation in Bangkok? That's your place. Do you feel like chilling for some days? That's your place. Do you need to keep your bike or box stored for a while? That's your place. Do you need to go to the airport afterwards? That's your place. Welcoming and cosy, super bike friendly, very helpful staff, close to the international airport, with a nice morning and night market at 5 minutes walking distance. Excellent!

We stayed at Spinning Bear for the first two nights of our Asian cycling adventure. We made use of the airport pickup service - 500 baht for both of us, absolutely perfect after a long flight. The hostel itself is delightful! Great facilities, extremely helpful and friendly hosts, nice cats.....and we loved all of the artwork and cycling memorabilia. We also enjoyed being a bit away from the craziness of central Bangkok - great food nearby, and we didn't see a single other tourist (it is rainy season after all). Spinning Bear is perfect for taking it easy. Brilliant for cyclists and backpackers alike - check it out!

I spent a couple of weeks here preparing for the next leg of my cycling trip. It's far enough away that it's peaceful, but close enough to the city that you can get everything you need done. Pi runs the bike shop. He did a great job servicing my bike. Prices are comparable if not cheaper than what you would find at other shops in the area. Im runs the hostel. Need advice, can't find something, need a cycling route? Im helped me so much. She was able to get some bike parts that I couldn't find anywhere. Routes in and out of the city. They sell some bike parts, and have storage for gear, bikes, and boxes. There are three floors that include: washer and dryer, kitchen, shop, merchandise area, dining area, showers, storage, big sleeping areas, and a rooftop for hanging out. It's a positive atmosphere where you can meet other like minded travelers. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Spinning Bear for 3 nights while getting ready for our bike trip through Thailand Cambodia and Vietnam. We couldn't have stayed at a better place. Im and Pipi helped us with absolutely everything. It was such a relief to stay with them and have so much support for the bike tour. The hostel itself is beautiful and filled with amazing art. It's a comfortable place with so many food stalls just down the street. We were even given a Thai phrase and culture book to help us get around Thailand. This in itself is incredibly helpful. I couldn't recommend a more comfortable and pleasant place to stay, particularly for bike riders. We were even supported with train timetables servicing of the bikes and fitting. They also offer a shuttle service from the airport at a reasonable price which we wish we had used. Spinning Bear is a friendly and comfortable place to stay and we can't imagine how hard it would have been bike touring without their support. Would highly recommend to any bike tourist or anyone else visiting Thailand.
