Neighborhood
Ari
Home to at least a dozen hip coffee shops, sophisticated boutiques and some seriously fine restaurants, Ari is the newest epicentre of Bangkok cool. Fleeing from the skyrocketing rents in Thonglor and Ekamai, many young urbanites made Ari their new home. This mostly residential neighbourhood outside the city centre isn't much of a trendy area on first sight, but if you scratch the surface of government buildings and noodle shops, you'll find out that there's loads of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Bring a local friend or do your research on beforehand to avoid missing out on all the fun.

First time we've been to Thailand. Easy to find from airport (we took the private shuttle to Phaya Thai and its 2 stops to nearest BST from VM1 hostel). Very very clean and modern. Nice cool rooms to help with humidity and a decent breakfast. Zero complaints.
Thank Adam W

Room is great with curtain, charging port and a shelf. Storage area is big but the lock have safety concern. Room overall is clean, but able to see mouse and cockroach in the lobby. Hotel staffs are very helpful.

good location, nearby the victory monument.Very friendly staff. spacious bunk bed with curtain and huge locker under it. Very clean and stylish in general (its like in the pictures). it would have been perfect, if they offered a bit of fresh fruits for the breakfast.

The hostel was really amazing! We were all very impressed. The staff was very friendly, the bedroom was super clean, amenities were more than enough, and even the shared bathrooms were clean. There weren't a lot of people staying due to probably off-ish season. But overall, it was just amazing, and would highly recommend the hostel to ANYONE.

We were initially in Bangkok one night, and had the hotel booked for then, but an accident had us stay another night in Bangkok and we decided to go back to VM1, because we loved them so much.
Thank Shahriar E

Women's bathroom is just next door. But you have to go up next floor for men's bathroom.
