The style combines heritage with modern Asian style . The rooms are everything you could wish for in Asian chic . Beds and pillows are exceptionally comfortable . Bathroom facilities are equally good .
Service is impeccable if sometimes a little over attentive at breakfast ( I really can still manage to carry my plate ! ) ; the food was also excellent at breakfast with a good choice of buffet and freshly prepared Asian and international options including nicely baked bread. We had one lunch which was also very good and the reputation for dinner is very good too , although there is so much excellent choice and value to be had in Chang Mai . The gardens are serene and well kept offering shade from the heat . The lap pool is lovely but get there early if you want a sunny spot although you can have a lounger moved to the garden. A well equipped gym is discreet and nicely air conditioned looking over the garden but private enough to exercise morning or evening
This is a quiet location but only 10 mins by Tuk Tuk from the action and bustle of Chang Mai
A real gem that is suitably lauded

The hotel is beautiful and clean.
Breakfast was prepared with a variety of menus, so you could eat delicious gourmet food in Thai, food, sunrise, and all. The hotel breakfast typically served on Trips was a complete overcrowd. The 137Philas breakfast was available both in buffet and in Alagart, allowing you to enjoy high-quality food every day. Especially Helsi juice was also detailed in various types so it was fun to choose. The coffee was delicious too.
The pool is well managed and very clean and the view is very good. Sunset is too great.
The shuttle to Fronfort Station is also good, so it's good to go everywhere, and it was nice to come and eat delicious foods at the Emquire Gomermat before the shuttle trip - the shuttle looked so beautiful!!
Above all, all the staff were so friendly that they came to rest comfortably.
This is a very good Bangkok hotel with a very positive Recommendation.

Was on a short business trip in Bangkok last week and did not actually choose the place, it is our corporate “hotel”. It is actually a luxury serviced apartment complex whereby the units are actual apartments with washing machine, dryer, with a kitchen with microwave etc. Besides it being an actual apartment, you get all the services of a 5* hotel with an attention to details rarely seen in my view. Little things like delicious amuses-bouches given on your first day. You can tell they are locally-inspired treats and the toiletries hidden away in a beautifully-made bag that you can actually purchase. The slippers were not your typical white and beautifully made. Cables for all my charges were all rolled and tied with a velcro tie. Every single cable and I have 4-5 of them. Had issues with the wifi connection due to my corporate VPN. Staff were quick to find a workaround by creating an exception on their network for me. But this would need to be addressed if they want to work with corporate clients like us. Nearly missed a call but it all worked out in the end.

Now, breakfast is also world class. You a choice of any items on the menu which are very high quality breakfast dishes that you would get in a high-end restaurant like egg Benedict for example. On top of that, you get to eat anything from the buffet. Coffees were way too strong for my colleagues’ taste but maybe it’s a good thing and juices were a bit lacking in my view. I like to have an abundant choice of fresh juices as I don’t drink coffee or tea.

For dinner, we had one dinner at the Nimitr Thai restaurant on the rooftop. Ate on the terrace with the view. Had the 7-item menu to share. Usually for 4pax although there was only 3 of us. Food was delicious and requests for spiciness level were followed perfectly. The chef even came to see us and speak about some of the dishes. It was an exceptional experience and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the steak that comes with some kind of local sea watercress. Never had anything like it, it was unbelievable. You’ll see it in my pictures in case you want to try it out.

In summary, I highly recommend this place if you want a high quality experience at a reasonable price. The hotel as well as all the places in it.

For Golf lovers, there were two facilities including a driving range which, although I did not try it, I assume is some kind of virtual thingy with a net in front of it but appreciated in the city for Gold lovers wanting a quick practise of their swing.

Most luxurious hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooftop infinity pool almost 40 stories up is the highlight for sure. Amazing ammenities and very helpful & friendly hotel staff. Genji was very thorough and welcoming when checking us into our room - very attentive to detail. Would recommend everyone stays here!

I stayed at the Sukhothai Suites for 3 nights. The room was good, the bath and walk in closet and dressing area was impressive and the bed was really soft. The thing is I expected all of these.

Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed my stay. From the start, Nadia (one of the front desk managers I believe) asked for my number which I willingly gave and it made things really convenient. I could message her my requests for my room to be made (or not) at off timings. I could always make sure that there was enough water in my room (because I drink a lot of it). I enjoyed the full day breakfast on mornings I woke up late and also enjoyed that I had a service centre to shower after checking out to freshen up before my transfer to the airport. The transfer service in an E class was also pleasurable to the point I started dozing off in the middle of Bangkok’s rush hour.

I loved my stay, my stay was 5 stars for sure, but for a hotel which was awarded one of the best luxury small hotels, I felt like they should have gone for perfection, which I was disappointed that they didn’t. They should be putting themselves side by side with the Capellas and the St Regises, which they didn’t.

For example, if I had ordered food in, I had to head down to a general food collection point at the lobby to collect my food. Other hotels would have delivered the food to my door. I have to caveat this experience with an observation that on the 3rd night there was a staff who tried to deliver food up but I caught him in time when I reached the lobby. I suspect that there may have been different service available for people staying in the Suites and the Residences, but the point is that I shouldn’t have to think about this and it should be automatic.

Another example was when Nadia added my number to ensure that my requests would be entertained timely. On the day of my check out Nadia texted me to check in on me and I subsequently found out that it was her off day. Herein lies the problem, where I deliberately wouldn’t text Nadia outside of her working hours (not her fault and also because I hate working outside office hours). The solution? Look at Capella, where on day 1 you are added into a WhatsApp/Line group where you are attended by the entire front desk team 24/7! Again this was a really good service which 137 Pillars had but it just missed out on perfection!

Let me re-emphasise, this is by no means a bad review. This is in fact a 5 star review. I enjoyed my stay and it was certainly a 5 star stay. I will 100% be back in the future. With that said, for a hotel that aims to be perfect and one of the best, my stay just missed out on perfection…

This is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Access to the two pools (including an Insta-worthy infinity pool) is worth the price of admission alone. The rooms are luxurious with amazing views from the balcony and bathtub (and the 24hr bubble bath service was a nice touch). The bed is very comfortable and every need is catered for in the rooms, which are very quiet. But the staff are the real strength of this hotel. Nadia our concierge was an absolute star - she could not not have been more helpful and accommodating. And everyone who works here is outstanding, from Au in the spa who is so knowledgeable, to Teen and many others in the lovely 27th floor restaurant, who anticipate needs before you know you have them. Any call to reception and your requests are taken care of by the most kind people. We checked out and spent the day in Bangkok; when picking up our bags we enjoyed the guest centre to freshen up before our flight. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at 137 Pillars was amazing! We were greeted in our room with a lovely setup for our honeymoon and some delicious desserts. The Sukhothai room has a beautiful view of the city on the balcony or in the tub and the bed was so comfortable. There are many restaurants right in the hotel as well as amazing Michelin options in the neighborhood. The hotel offers shuttle services to EmQuartier and ordered us taxis whenever we needed. We never ran out of things to do.

We ended up doing the Louie Tour which was one of our highlights. Our hosts Fahsai and Pipe were accommodating and informative. They gave us stories and info on the city and local landmarks, as well as joined us for the museum and palace to help expedite our experience and take photos for us! They were some of the most kind people and we truly enjoyed our day with them.

We look forward to coming back or trying the 137 Pillars in Chiang Mai in the future.

Everything is clean and retained.
It is also so well taken care of that I feel like I have what I want where I want it.

However, the TVs and others are still the older model, and I feel the TVs are undersized.

The fact that room service is ordered by phone is a bit disappointing and should be made available for ordering online

We stayed in Sukhothai Suite . The room is spacious and the service by Khun Ron our Butler was very nice and impressive. It was my birthday celebration and a lot of the staffs said Congratulations to me which made my birthday more memorable. The bed is very big and soft. The cleanliness matched my standard. They offered the one hour cocktails hour at 18.00-19.00 everyday. The time for breakfast is until 11.00 a.m it has variety menus which you can choose. Before we went to the bed. The maid came in and prepared our bed to sleep. They put some bottle of sleeping spray and wrote a card for us. Plus you can ask your butler to prepare a bathtub for you in advance. All of the products in the room( shower gel, shampoo, soap etc. ) are made from the luxury brand in Thailand. I just can say you get what u paid and this place is a must to visit once in a lifetime.

We loved this hotel! It is modern, spacious, well-equipped with great staff and a high level of customer service. We really liked the hotel’s location: close to Sukhumvit but in a quiet area away from the chaos of Bangkok.

Our one-bedroom suite was very spacious, and we appreciated having a full washer and dryer. The bathroom was huge and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the view from our balcony.

The breakfast buffet was good, with a variety of western and Asian foods. Our room rate included breakfast so we ate there each morning.

The rooftop infinity pool in this hotel is simply amazing! It’s such a nice place to relax and you can order drinks or food if you wish. Just a gorgeous spot!

What sets this hotel apart is the staff, who really go above and beyond! They were so friendly and helpful with any request. They even decorated our bed with balloons in honour of our 30th wedding anniversary.

Highly recommend 137 Pillars and Suites!
