Believe me, you'll have a great time at Salil Hotel soi 8 Sukhumvit rd in Bangkok since it's really convenient to get to Salil. The first impress when you arrive Salil Hotel is the beauty of this Hotel...very very very romantic, especially at night. you are welcome by some pretty and very kind receptionists ( so kute Gaezii Sopita). Spent 3 nights at the Salil & found it to be a very poor excuse for a hotel. The staff where kind & friendly enough, but beyond that i find it very difficult to have a good word to say about the place. I had booked 4 rooms 2 deluxe & 2 Superior & me, my wife, my parents, Brother...

I stayed with my partner at the Salil hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is centrally located with friendly staff and good quality food. The only disappointment we had was with the duty manager at the hotel. We upgraded our room to the Deluxe room from a superior one and upon arrival at the hotel we were told that we...

We had the possibility to spend 3 days in Bangkok at the Hotel and we have bene very surprised of the level of quality. Despite the fact our flight was late, the pick up service (2.30 am) was available. Position is very good, few minutes to the train station. Our room was clean, nice and the bed very confortable. Wi-Fi...

Cosy hotel for a reasonable price close to Sukhumvit, Nana station. Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff. Free internet. A golf cart is in front of the hotel to bring you to the skytrain, free of charge.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and well appointed. Some of the staff were helpful but others seemed disinterested, this made aspects of our stay more difficult . Other hotels nearby had transport up to Sukhumvit road which were continually moving up and down . On the way back if you didn't have a phone you...

"Average" isn't much of an endorsement, not is it particularly a criticism - it's just a matter of fact. This small hotel at the top of exciting Soi 8 is reasonably priced; it's clean and tidy, although the lobby smells faintly of drains, and dressed in an eccentric faux-French provincial style with a lot of lime green and pale blue...

I have written but my comments don't appear to be published. People need to know how awful this was. When we asked for extra tea bags (we were supplied with 2 per day) we were told we had to pay for them...yes pay for extra tea bags! The manager was not easy to with at times as she has an...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
