Decent location, walking distance to Khoasan Road and staff were very helpful with assisting printing off some documents as well as letting us leave our bags there after we’d checked out. Could have made it more clear that the basic rooms don’t have a widow, however, as long as you’re just using the hotel as a ‘base’ it’s not an issue. Breakfast could have done with a bit of variation as well as the addition of bacon. Moreover, we weren’t aware there was a menu which you could order extras until are final day. Making this clearer to all guess would be an improvement. If you plan on spending the majority of your time out of the hotel exploring Bangkok I would recommend this hotel as it’s location acts as a solid ‘base’ which is 20-30 minutes away for everything you’d want to see.

We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon. I booked it because on pictures it looked very beautiful and the price, although higher than other options, seemed reasonable. However f the 3 days we spent there were very disappointing… The room we got had no natural light at all and the lighting inside was very poor. Made it feel cave-like The breakfast had little variety and on 2 different occasions the options were left empty on the line for quite a while. We were there one morning for 40 minutes, and the whole time the egg tray stayed empty. Mind you it was earlier than 9AM, so not close to the end of breakfast We booked a couples massage and they confirmed availability. Only to the day before our service get cancelled because lack of staff. We used the gym one day and it so hot!!! Also the A/C there didn’t work and there wasn’t water available to drink either. We are not fans of getting our room made everyday, but in the second day, we removed the “don’t disturbe” so the staff could make our room. We were gone all day, and when we back around 17-17:30 and we opened our room, we realised it was still undone. Overall not terrible but not great. Also now that I have had the opportunity to stay at other hotels in and outside Bangkok, I can assure this hotel is way overpriced and there are other options. Won’t stay here again.

Classic Thai service with lots of smiles. The property is old, which is charming but our room lacked a proper closer so our stuff was spread out like a teenagers room. The food is very good. The real gem here is the Imperial Wellness massage. I had an Aromatherapy warm oil massage one day and a 90 minute therapeutic massage the next day. Pia did a fantastic job both times. If I wasn’t a happily married man, I’d easily propose to her. She is magical at making you feel great.

We stayed for two nights in the room with the plunge pool, the Teywet suite. It’s a lovely room but just that, not a suite. Beautifully decorated, everything you need including body lotion, hurray!! The bathroom is large, well decorated and all very clean. The plunge pool is ambient temperature in a private garden area. It doesn’t really get the sun but the jets are very powerful so a pleasant way to spend an hour. The main pool area is small but nice with comfortable sun beds. We loved the breakfasts, great choice and beautifully cooked omelettes to order. All the staff were really nice and I also had a fabulous oil massage in the spa. The lady did me a custom made massage as I have a slipped disc, very very good. I’m sorry I can’t recall her name but began with a P! All in all a really pleasant little hotel with amazing local restaurants nearby and a 7 Eleven too. We would stay again!!

The Raweekanlaya Wellness hotel lived up to its reputation. Everything was flawless; easy late check-in, delicious breakfast and a supper in the hotel's dining room, help with luggage upon check-in and check-out, clean comfortable room, calling a metered taxi to take me to various locations in town. Lots of foreign tv channels, superb garden/pool setting, the list goes on. There is no one 'perfect moment' at the Raweekanlaya; it is more a matter of a collection of many moments which leads one to say, 'Bravo'. If you enjoy boutique hotels, as I do, then the Raweekanlaya is a perfect choice. I stayed in a Superior room, overlooking the Lobby area on the second floor, and city noise was not an issue. The air-conditioning was adjustable and silent, good for sleeping and the really hot days of Summer; and hot water in the shower was fine. My only suggestion is to add more choice to Breakfast; I was there for 6 nights, and while I enjoyed everything, a bit more variety would be appreciated. Perhaps add French Toast on a regular basis, and vary the Pan Fried Potatoes with a Vegetable Fried Rice, from day to day. Everything is nearby; and with a very local feel. A fine dressmaker at Luk Luang market, across the canal, a very helpful Pharmacist near Samsen corner, and Arunya Health and Skin spa, with a full slate of massage/beauty treatments at Thai prices. Overall, 5* hotel at very reasonable prices.

Boutique hotel in a super location in Bangkok. Very convenient as you can walk to main attractions and peer for the ferry (like a water bus). Lots of street food around as well as a “Seven Eleven” store. Rooms are nice but quite dark. They have all the amenities you need, even toothbrush. The pool area is lovely and relaxing. The breakfast area is cosy. Breakfast is basic and the same everyday. For vegetarians they can prepare fried rice if you ask for it.
