Detailed Reviews
We stayed for 7 nights. Although we had 2 large suitcases and cabin bags nobody came out from reception to help us,even though there were two guys standing by the desk
Room was as we had booked, clean and quiet. Lady at breakfast never smiled (unusual in the land of smiles). When I asked for scrambled eggs she said no, yet there were two guys in the kitchen preparing for the lunchtime. Eggs under the warmer were like rubber. Mod (Maude) on reception was very helpful and always smiling. We asked to use the free tut tut to go to Victory Monument (1.10) we were told that we could not go until 1
30 as stated on a card by the desk yet he sat there doing nothing and could have easily taken us the 3 minute trip !!!! This hotel does things when it wants and the customer is not first.but in a city that is crazy and noisy it is quiet and close to local restauras and street food and 7/11.
The hotel organised several Grab taxis for us but ehen asked for one to Dan Noung airport they were very reluctant and said it would be more expensive than the one they use which was 500 baht. We were scepital but we did not want to miss our flight. The taxi guy covered over his meter with a towel which slipped when we arrived at the airport 177 baht! The hotel obviously has a deal going but this left a very bad taste as they cheated us. Was not very happy. True Siam Hotel please note this.

I loved the look of this hotel when I first saw it. I wanted to feel like I was in Asia not back in NYC I had read some reviews most of them being good but a few talking about the alley you have to walk down and the distance from the BTS .
First of all you can’t beat the price of this place and it is incredibly clean. Room service every day and the staff was wonderful Some of them didn’t speak the greatest English but they tried the best they could.
It is about a 10 minute walk to the BTS if you’re older like me you might want to take a Tuk-Tuk don’t pay more than 60 bt. and tell them to take you to the lift.
The alley is so safe I never once felt uncomfortable and I walk with a cane. Thailand is a very safe country. I’ve heard of pick pockets but never had a problem. You can get to anyplace on the BTS . Thailand has an incredible transit system and I’m from NY. If you’re a couple or single ask for room 406 it’s large and quiet and so clean! There’s a safe that works. and I never had a problem. My only advice I can give them is change the breakfast if it’s included with your reservation fine but don’t pay for it although it is cheap 1.99 bt. which is around $5.50 USD If you’re not crazy about Thai food walk down Ragman Road to Mobile Steak they have all kinds of food and are cheap and good. Had dinner there every night. There is also a beautiful little park right down the road.

Quite good hotel in Bangkok with very good service, swimming pool and a very good breakfast zone. It also had a free tuk tuk service for certain places.
The last day we had our flight very early in the morning so the canteen was going to be closed and they prepared a take off breaksfast for us.
I really recommend it and congrats to all the staff, they are doing a great job.

We paid the hotel for 2 weeks( 13 October between October 26) but we didn't even stay for 1 day. The reception of the hotel was Ladyboy. Also, gay men always stay at the hotel. In summary, the hotel is not suitable for families. Hotel breakfast had terrible It was very cheap and poor quality. there was no variety. My thai girlfriend ( joy) she escaped from the hotel after 1 day stayed. Hotel was smelled very bad, the furniture is very old and wooden and there are insects and bugs all over the place. the hotel location is exactly where a horror movie will be shot plus a dark alley, dingy old furniture and disgusting had nasty skunk smells. There is no complimentary in the hotel room. internet not working in rooms. There is internet only in the lobby. Damn the agoda website, which recommended such a hotel to me as the best hotel, as well as the hotel management and staff, who are rude to their customers.

Room Tip: The location of the hotel is in a narrow dark street, there are ladyboys and prostitutes...

Very good location of the hotel in a quiet alley, just 5 minutes walk from the elevated train station "Victory Monument". In the immediate vicinity there are numerous 7elevens, restaurants, food stalls, etc.
I had a large room in the building next door with two children, very quiet and relaxed. Comfortable beds and lots of space.
Solid and delicious breakfast buffet, very nice pool on the roof of the building (really great) and very friendly and competent team.

A quaint little hotel and nothing at all like the November 2022 review at all. I am multilingual and I heard Chinese polish French etc. it seems well attended and certainly reasonable. A hotel Tuk Tuk will take you to two sky train stations as a courtesy which is so handy. Very close to a laundry mat and 711. Turn left and 3 minutes from this place. Street food and a restaurant too. Breakfast was ok with fresh fruit, rice and curry chicken and veggies and toast and and eggs done already. I do recommend this place to stay at.

Good & clean hotel. Staff very helpful, nice & courteous.
Breakfast should be reviewed (should use little oil & try change it everyday) & the wifi badly needs an upgrade.
Apart this everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel ♥️
What was more important for us was that our luggage & personal belongings were safe here. We felt it & was at ease when we were out.
Thank u each of u who have contributed to making our stay so memorable.
Our second visit to Bangkok & we keep loving it more & more ♥️
We are checking out early on Tuesday morning & feeling sad to leave these people & beautiful Bangkok....I hope to visit very soon 🛺

The hotel is not on the main road but near to it and is not a fancy style one. Most guests didn't seem like business people to me. I found nobody in rush and hurry. Felt like being in old slow side of life. Reception desk staffs were helpful. Only thing is for Taxi drivers who got confused with another true siam hotel. At the end of the day, I could navigate them when they mistook the location. Fun!

Super central hotel very close to the metro, many food places nearby and without too much noise being between two main streets. All very clean and functional. The pool in the attic is a plus.
The only catch found is that the entry bond is only accepted in cash.

Absolutely avoid
Staff unable to communicate and extremely rude. Wifi non-existent. Obligation to leave a deposit of 1000 B, very practical when we cannot use it because we then leave for the airport. They openly make fun of their customers.
The rooms are OK but you can hear the noise from the corridors.
They do not respond to any request and provide no solution and we were forced to pay for breakfasts not consumed
Hair dryer with exposed wires, I have children who could have hurt themselves, it's dangerous

Yes, it's just around the corner
Hi, You can trust Google maps, this is how I found my way to the hotel. On your first day when you land in Bangkok for the first time, I would flag down a taxi or a tuk tuk as they will take you to the correct place quicker, instead of walking round trying to find it, especially on a really hot or rainy day. That is what we did and didn't expect to go through an alley (wide enough to fit a big car) to get to the hotel.
Also if you have GPS, this will also work, and you can trust Google maps. I depend on this.
We arrived at the other airport but left from DMK airport. We just took a taxi as the new skytrain hasn't been completed as of April 2018.
