SLEEPBOX SUKHUMVIT 22 is the container-designed hostel with a superstructure building in Bangkok. Located in Soi Sukhumvit 22 surrounded by local residents where you can experience the city’s vibrant cultures, lifestyle, way of livings, and enjoy Thai local food and desserts made by the locals. Only 10-minute walk, you will reach the M District area, where largest and latest modern shopping malls and department stores are located in the heart of Bangkok’s city center.
The good is that it is in a quiet location and the design is clever. The rooms are shipping containers and the walls carry sound all too well. The rooms start out about 80% clean. While the cleaning staff are very friendly they only clean the room superficially. The desk staff is ok yet they kept changing our room. We ended up in room 505 which was infested with ants. We told the cleaning staff about the issue and nothing was done. We left since we couldn't suffer the indifference and mediocrity amymore. No wireless, unless you go to a common room, ants, poor housekeeping, hot water and toast for breakfast. The price is reasonable but you can do much better in the same neighborhood.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a private room with a double bed and en suite. The room was a good size and had air con. It was also clean and we got fresh towels and bottled water everyday. The location was good as it was in a more quiet area away from the hectic traffic in the centre. It was also easy enough to get into the centre by taxi/grab. It was good value for money and we would stay here again. The free breakfast could be better, as there was only bread/toast and some jam. But it’s free so can’t really complain. There are tons of 7/11’s near by so getting supplies is easy enough. Would recommend.

Been staying there couple of times, shower head were always loosen, water pressure was very weak, bathroom door locked itself from inside without nobody in, air conditioning was too warm and even you’re a guest of the hotel, you still have to pay THB 100 parking fee!

I’ve stayed in Hostels all over the world all ranging in quality. The price is that cheap that we rented a 4-bed-box for 3 of us. The room, toilet and shower is very clean and private. The noise is minimum and the Aircon works wonders, with no noise. The lobby is nice and clean and staff are friendly and speak English very well. The only down side is that you can’t open the doors onto the balcony but probably for health and safety etc. Location is great, GRAB taxis are all over to get you all over the city and to the airport.

Very friendly staff accessible around the clock. The rooms very clean excluding the toilet shower head. Very continent 4 beds each enclosed in a little cube of privacy. A curtain that closes each bed and a lockable storage cupboard. Air-con works magic and the beds are extremely comfy.

A brilliant place to stay. Incredible concept of shipping containers stacked and made into dwelling pods! Like one of George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces. We chose a 4 man pod for 3 people with en-suite bathroom. Clean and modern with fabulously efficient air con, glass elevator, clean sheets and towels. Lots of sockets for charging devices and sockets and lights in each individual sleeping bunk. Lockers in the room and breakfast included all for £7 GBP pee head per night. Incredible value for money. Highly recommend. · The location was a bit tucked away but only 40 minutes by taxi to the airport which was perfect for our one night lay over.

- booked 2 person room+ private bathroom (has 4 bunk beds, private shower , toilet) - Very clean, maintained quite nicely. bed was comfortable and enough space - our flight arrived at 2am so we needed an affordable place for a short sleep, just the right place we were looking for - we extended a day since we liked the place and didnt spend much time in the room little far from BTS (more than 800m) but we were able to take a motorbike(30bat) from the seveneleven in front of the hotel to Phrom pong bts. it wasnt a big problem for us

Nice and clean - hipster-ish decor. Looks like it's made out of shipping containers but definitely nothing crude/welded together. Airconditioning and water works fine. Common room looks A**. Strict check-in and check-out times. Free water and towels. Location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and you'd have to walk a bit to get to anywhere but there're motorcycle dudes outside to take you around. 7-11 downstairs too. Note that the wifi completely doesn't work at all so you'd better have a data SIM card living here
