As my sole agenda in Bangkok was to shop, The Ecotel worked out to be a great option. Indra Square & Platinum Fashion Mall are barely a 10 min walk away and MBK about a 15 min tuktuk ride! That said, it sure does fall short of inhouse food options for lack of a basic restaurant. Staff is courteous and... More

walking distance for shopping to Indra Market, close to Indian Restaurants, especially South Indian Restaurants, if tired after shopping can come back by tuk tuk for 100Baht, hotel looks small from outside but is quite big with all non-smoking rooms, baggage is well managed by security if you are early for check-in, can leave baggage in hotel and go out... Worst breakfast, the kitchen opens only in morning hours, that's it.. Staff is hell rude, no sense to how to talk with a client. Only the location of the hotel is good that too if yu find really hard than there are better options available, BIG NOOOOOOO FOR THIS PROPERTY.

Rooms were ok. Breakfast was terrible. Towels are shredded. Staff is sometimes good. I booked thru a group travel is don't know the exact cost. What's a little tricky for me to assess is it the hotel or the clientele that made the experience a little sketch. In this case it was more the clientele, but I don't see that... More

Stayed 3 nights recently at this place. Mostly Indian tourist. Smells reflects the place too. Check in late due to full house the night before. Quite a big room but no view. All windows faces another room opposite or the back portion of Bangkok Palace hotel. Breakfast is in a chaos as most Indian used their hands to handle the... More

This hotel is the hub for Indians. Once inside, it feels like I am back in India. The rooms are a bit small and poor lighting, however they are clean and the staffs are nice. The breakfast is delicious and overall a nice place to stay in the heart of Bangkok.

If you are tight on pocket go for ecotel. A nice hotel, centrally located, spacious rooms, buffet breakfast. The building is might be a bit older so you are going to get a kind of vintage feeling. Only thing which matters is that they don't have restaurant. So you have to depend upon on innumerable eateries around that area.

Situated in the shopping district this hotel is the place where all Indians visiting bangkok flock to....it is a property with 90% Indian guests...( so other country travellers just decide ... It's upto your mind set...) ... ## front office absolutely rude... never think customers money is what they get as salary...too lethargic.... Biggest black hole in this property is... More
