-few minutes walk from Sala Daeng BTS Station & the famous Silom district; -close to Bug & Bee (24 hours cafe, recommended: all day brunch), Nooddi (for those who like noodles) ; -continental breakfast is included (toast, cereal, egg, sausage, milk, coffee, yogurt); -rooms were decorated in different graphics wall (we took the Central Park double S room. Thought would... More

We stayed here for the main reason... it's near Patpong!!!! Very convenient, very near! Near BTS and MRT. For me, this is the best hostel in Silom area. We stayed in 3 rooms for 3 different days (due to room unavailabilty) but it was ok. My friend left his iPod inside the 1st room and they returned it! If they... More

It's a distance from the airport, but very near the bts - so you can practically go anywhere on as transportation is soo convenient (I love the bts n mrt!) We took a taxi from the airport and it cost us 1800 baht 2 ways (we pre-booked the cab for our return ride to the airport). I think we got... More

Very well located between both MRT and BTS stations also very near to bus stop. It is clean and crisp. The bedsheets and towels are changed everyday and the rooms are very tidy. We stayed in 'lets rock room' its not too big but good enough for two adults. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is spacious and clean.... More

I was travelling to Bangkok alone and wanted to stay somewhere affordable yet safe. After researching for a while, Take A Nap seemed like a good place. I wasn't disappointed! The moment I stepped in, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave me 2 maps - one normal and one for bts and also told me that there... More

Last June 5, we checked in with Take-a-Nap and as soon as we enter, C and Joy welcomed us with all smiles and gave us the key to our room. We took the Pinky room and it was very clean and cozy. There's already a suggested itinerary at the back of the door in case you don't have any plans... More

I stayed here for one night, the first coming we all surprised with the room, we have booked 1 room shared for 4 persons, but the capacity for 5 persons. So I think its very spacious for us. I can't sleep well because the beds are very hard, like sleeping on board. the room was clean, but the smell of... More

Stayed here after arriving late and needing to catch a train the next morning early and all the hotels near Lamphong seemed quite grotty.. Staff were excellent and even offered to bring breakfast forward 30 minutes to 6:30 since we had to leave really early. Nice and clean. It was only 40bht taxi-meter to the station and about 5 minutes.

I have just spent four nights at Take A Nap, and I have only good things to say about it, competitively priced, central location, very clean, friendly staff, relatively large rooms with enough personal space and no bunk beds, own area including personal safe, hot showers all the time....and ...and...and...FREE high-speed WIFI all over the place. If you are coming... More

First time I was here was with 5 other friends, so we got to check in the dorm room. Good value for our Baht. There were power outlets for each bed, a small table, a tiny space to hang our clothes/towel. The bed was a bit too low and hard for me, but all in all, I enjoyed my stay.... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
