small ,clean and tidy place. Traditional style building with wood floor. Staff are friendly and nice. Location is in the city and near Khaosan Road market, but a bit far from MRT. Also can try the local bus system and a bus stop is just outside of the hotel. Must stay and enjoy it.

Baan Dinso is located near the Democracy Memorial and the Wat Suthat with its Giant Swing. It's about a 10min walk to Khaosan Road, which makes it's location pretty central. It's quiet and quaint and absolutely beautiful. My favourite part were the shared bathrooms with the cute sinks and little details. I got free breakfast, which was ok although the...

We have found through booking.com this pleasant hotel, In Munic we had no idea exactly where this accommodation was located. A big surprise was this central location close to major attractions. We found us in a house with a background of beautiful traditional style and and friendly welcome. We will come back!

I booked Baan Dinso through Booking.com, it wasn't the cheapest room around but still only about $40 per night, I didn't want to stay in a hostel dorm room so it was a good alternative. I arrived very late and the taxi driver thankfully was kind and took me right up to the door. The house itself is very cute...

Absolutely beautifully decorated, clean, nice breakfast (at their lovely terrace). Also at a great location (about 10 min walk to Ko San Road). I could think of only 1 negative, and that's that the staff's English could be better. At another hostel the receptionist could give me better tips about excursions and such, because his English was better. But the...

I happen to know the owner, Khun Mam, who started this Baan Dinso from O background in hospitality business. So, it was quite amazing how no standard prototype like international chain hotels could win several awards. All was from her genuinity of service-minded heart and sincerity to customers. Baan Dinso was right in the middle of Bangkok old area surrounded...

I stayed in Baan Dinso for 8 nights. Tucked away down a back alley away from all the hustle & bustle of Bangkok. Gorgeous wooden structures throughout this peaceful little hostel. So clean & tidy. Very comfy, spacious bedrooms. Shared bathroom always kept clean. Food is delicious. Small hostel with few rooms makes it a more friendly & homely place...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

“You can find plenty of choices of food on the street one minute away from the hostel. If you can, only pay the room price without the option of breakfast, as the breakfast served by the hostel is far too simple but expensive considering the price of 200 Thai Baht. With the 200 Thai Baht, one can easily get a big and delicious meal in the local restaurants nearby.”
