This hotel was not worth the fee.Good point is the location, from the nearest station, only 3 minutes walk is enough to reach. There are many convenience stores around, but this applies to other hotels in the center of Taipei.Room was old, equipments were not renovated. To express by one word, moisty.Staffs were friendly but that did not make up for the... This hotel is bad. Rooms are small, dirty and smell bad. Old smelly carpet. Bathroom wasn't cleaned well, floor and toilet had things on them better left unsaid in a public forum. Bed was uncomfortable and low quality. Everything felt dingy. Breakfast was as cheaply made as possible. Room fixtures look like they are 60 years old and/or from a... More

Very good service - eg upgraded my room to the highest quality room. Location is great. 3 mins walk to exit 8 Metro station. Given the small size of the hotel, it is surprisingly being indicated as one of the destinations of the metro's exit. Room is however a bit dated. The hotel was opened in 2008 when I stayed... More

booked a room at metro hotel but they over confirmed the bookings and forced me to move to this hotel, saying it belongs to the same group of companies. Room was dirty and foul smelling. noisy environment and dirty blankets. curtains can't be fully closed and there is thumping sound whole night long like somebody is working on some piping... More

It's a budget hotel, located in a not-so-busied spot. The whole staff was fantastic, even though their english skills was very basic, but they did everything possible to help you anyway. The room was good but a little bit smelling due to old carpet. It worths the price and the location.

It's a very good choice for budget travelers. Book online at the hotel's website for the best rates. It has all the basics you need and some extras--complete amenities, breakfast and comfortable lodging. Although their choice of breakfast left a lot to be desired, it was enough for our 2-day stay. You might want to explore the restaurants outside if... More

Hotel is in a good quiet location (for Taipei) near the Green "lake"an attractive scenic area. 10 minutes easy walking to MRT station (Xindian). Hotel is well furnished and clean, the staff are very attentive and helpful and have good spoken English skills. Buffet breakfast, part of our deal, offered a good variety for both the European & Asian palate.... More
