The Temple Tiger (Green) Jungle Resort is a totally different kind of "Resort" that is located near one of the entrance gates to the Chitwan National Park. Instead of the typical modern resort look, the Temple Tiger Jungle Resort is uniquely designed with a rustic bungalow look (see photos). So with the Chitwan National Park in the background, this Resort's design and decor seems to fit very nicely. Inside the "bungalow", our room was clean and spacious. There is a nice balcony area that looks out to the surrounding jungle vegetation - nice views! There is a paved walkway that goes around the Resort which leads to other bungalows, the dining room and to the Resort garden areas where they grow fresh veggies. FYI: the Resort complex is completely fenced in -- to keep the wild jungle animals from entering. Also, the Resort discourages anyone from leaving the fenced-in complex for an evening walk or to explore the surrounding area on your own. However, several members of our small tour group had asked permission from one of the Resort's tour guides to leave the gated Resort compound to explore the surrounding area. The Resort guide had given his permission but he had stated the he must lead our group for this "walk" around the area - for the sake of safety because there are wild animals in the nearby Chitwan National Park. Nice Service! The Resort Dining room was large and spacious, and the food served was fresh and delicious - very enjoyable meals here. In summary, the Temple Tiger Resort is the "perfect" kind of place to stay at while exploring the nearby Chitwan National Park - UNESCO World Heritage site.…
This resort was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The accommodation and food was great, and the service was excellent, every person went out of their way to make sure we were happy at all times. They were very flexible and accommodating about my diet as well. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
This place totally exceeded my expectations! Excellent accommodation facilities and the service is priceless. The guided Jeep and Boat tour are a must do. The Elephant Safari was my absolute favorite! I will definitely be back
Such a peaceful place! Totally recommend this wonderful hotel in the most nature-friendly environment there is. We went on a photo safari with our guide Nischal who is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to all things nature. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and courteous. We would love to come back!
I was pleased to be in the FAM trip 2020. Team was full of experience people of tourism industry. The location of the Resort is excellent with protected forest, on a little lifted land in the low plain Terai and near the ethnic Tharu Community village with authentic theme. Warm hospitality in the chilled misty winter in Terai is most appreciable. Uses of glass bottle instead of plastic was one of the major steps towards the control of plastic use. Knowledgeable, friendly and well behaved staff added a good flavor to our tour.
