We stayed before and after our Poon Hill trekking in hotel Adam. In total 4 nights. We got a big comfortable clean room with a nice hot shower. The breakfast was also very tasty. You can choose from a lot of items. From the roof terrace you have a splendid view at the lake and the snow capped mountains. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful.
Downstair in the hotel there is a travel agency: Adam tours & travels. They organized the Poon Hill trekking for us with Muku as a guide. It was the best guide we ever had and we had a lot of fun with him. Ten stars Muku!
We arranged our stay in the hotel and the trekking by email and mister Basu responded always very quickly and was very clear about the costs.
And when we were in Pokhara they also organized paraglyding and bustickets for us.
We highly recommend this hotel and travel agency!

For the price range of this hotel, it is probably the best value you will find in Pokhara. The owner is on-site most of the days, overseeing the smooth operation of this place. Probably the highlight is the rooftop restaurant for breakfast with its view of both the lake and surrounding mountains. Everything was spotless (the rooms, hall ways, restaurant, reception). The internet was the best we found outside of Kathmandu.

There is a wide variety of rooms: some overlook the street, others open on to the breezeway between buildings and therefore don't have views, a few look out over the lake. If you want a lake view room, book early and expect to pay a little extra. We always had hot water for showers (many hotels only have solar heating which is unreliable).

Excursions can be arranged at competitive pricing so you don't have to shop around for a travel agent.

There are a few night clubs in this part of Pokhara so you do hear music until around 11pm, then things quiet down. Currently, the owner is expanding the hotel so there is construction noise during the day but it doesn't start until about 9am. It is anticipated that construction will be completed by the fall of 2022.

There is security personnel on duty at night.

To recap, the hotel is very clean, well run, helpful staff, good internet, safe and a great value.

The hotel has responded to all our queries before the visit. The hotel staff was welcoming. Besides some delay in payment details from the MakeMyTrip side and after showing our confirmation, we were given room. We have posted their room video including the bathroom and other facilities in the room on our YouTube channel "SYLEWO". The hotel has better rooms on the rooftop swimming pool side.

The rooftop restaurant food was tasty and very reasonably priced. The cost of food outside the hotel is similar or on the higher side. The staff was patiently waiting for us to finish our food, even though we slightly exceeded the closing time while eating.

The rooftop view is amazing. The infinity pool was cool. We did not have time to take a bath but the view was nice. The morning breakfast was complimentary but very limited choices.

The hotel is beside the road and most of the good shops, club, and eatery is within walking distance. The lake scenery point is slightly far if you are walking with young kids. They do have a travel company besides their reception. We have hired an outside taxi to roam around, which offered us a better price. The hotel was open at the early morning for those, who wanted to go out for the early sunrise trip.

Overall, a good stay at this hotel at a reasonable price.

Hotel Adam was a godsend!

During trekking in the Annapurnas my phone broke, so I came to Pokhara in the evening and didn't really know any hotels or could check their ratings or something like that. I went for Hotel Adam based on the recommendation in the Lonely Planet guide book and I was not disappointed.

The rooms inc. bathrooms are very nice (on the upper levels even nicer), the bathrooms are clean and the showers are hot (and if they're not, people are there to take care of that), the hotel is right at center point of the tourist quarter Lakeside (i.e. in a very good location), having breakfast on the roof terrace offers amazing views and most of all: The staff are just so friendly and helpful. Laundry service? No problem. Bus-Ticket to Kathmandu? No problem. Booking a hotel in Kathmandu for your way back? Also no problem.

Getting to this hotel was the best thing that could happen to me after an exhausting trek and offered a few days of very relaxing, subtropical vacation, before I had to go home.

I stayed at Hotel Adam for nine nights in October 2022 and can highly recommend it! Basu and the other hotel staff (Chilu, Asok, etc.) made me feel right at home and were very helpful in answering any questions I had and also in booking treks. The location is excellent and the hotel offers a rooftop restaurant (where you eat the delicious breakfasts, included in the price) with fantastic views of the lake. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hotel also has excellent wifi. I will be staying here again as it was an all-around great experience! Thank you for everything Basu and others!

Hotel Adam is centrally located on the lakeside area of Pokhara. It’s an easy walk to the lake and the area has plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping choices right at the door. The hotel rooms are set back from the street so our room was lovely and quiet, clean with lots of light.
Staff were so welcoming and friendly and helped us with every request.
There’s also an IATA travel agent on site and we booked bus seats to Kathmandu with them and at a very reasonable rate. Staff also helped with suggestions for places and sites to visit.
We opted for the breakfast option during our stay and we’re really happy with the fresh eggs and yummy veges, toast and coffees.
We had a swim in the newly completed rooftop pool that had stunning views to the Annapurnas. That will be a perfect place to sit when the new bar opens for the trekking season.
Thanks to Adam and his team for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Disliked · No complaints! Pokhara can be prone to blackouts during monsoon season but staff kept us informed. Lights always stayed on when blackouts did occur.

We can’t say enough about the quality of the service we got at hotel Adam. The owner, Basu Tripathi, is almost always personally there to assure that you have a great stay. Basu has a degree in English Literature. He named his hotel Adam, after Geoffrey Chaucer’s scribe. Most people call him Adam as well. Whatever we needed, Adam made sure we were taken care of. He provided guides and transportation whenever we needed it. Breakfast on the rooftop, with its view of the mountains and the lake, was always excellent. Adam was almost always there to personally supervise and work in the kitchen along side his employees.
The location of this hotel is excellent. A short walk to the lakeside and near some of the best restaurants in Pokhara. Everything we needed was easily accessible. I noticed that some reviews complained about noise. There are no quiet areas in lakeside Pokhara, itself. Many of the restaurants provide entertainment. Our experience was that the entertainment quieted down by 11 pm. After that, the area was relatively quiet, and a cool breeze off the lake allowed for a good nights sleep.
We highly recommend Hotel Adam.

I came to Pokhara with very little knowledge or plan, and Adam helped me tremendously to make the most of my experience. All of his recommendations and bookings were reasonably priced with all very friendly/helpful people. Adam seems like the king of Pokhara to me. Even when I left some clothing behind by mistake, he personally had it delivered to Kathmandu for me free of charge! Booking a hotel here means you will have everything taken care of.

the first thing i want to point out in this review is extremelly helpful and friendly staff in Hotel Adam. From first to last contact they were all just perfect.

Rooms are nice-very good value for money!

Breakfast is served on the rooftop with great view that can compete with prime rooftop restaurants in town. Food is very tasty - very good lasi too :)

The location is perfect whatever your plans in Pokara are. Plus they can help to arrange basically any activity around but are not pushy, just asking and supporting if you are interested. There is also money exchange right next ti reception.

I deffinitely recommend!
