We can’t say enough about the quality of the service we got at hotel Adam. The owner, Basu Tripathi, is almost always personally there to assure that you have a great stay. Basu has a degree in English Literature. He named his hotel Adam, after Geoffrey Chaucer’s scribe. Most people call him Adam as well. Whatever we needed, Adam made sure we were taken care of. He provided guides and transportation whenever we needed it. Breakfast on the rooftop, with its view of the mountains and the lake, was always excellent. Adam was almost always there to personally supervise and work in the kitchen along side his employees. The location of this hotel is excellent. A short walk to the lakeside and near some of the best restaurants in Pokhara. Everything we needed was easily accessible. I noticed that some reviews complained about noise. There are no quiet areas in lakeside Pokhara, itself. Many of the restaurants provide entertainment. Our experience was that the entertainment quieted down by 11 pm. After that, the area was relatively quiet, and a cool breeze off the lake allowed for a good nights sleep. We highly recommend Hotel Adam.…
This is my third time in Pokhara and I am always drawn to Hotel Adam. As you walk through the entrance of the hotel you are met with two smiling faces Tilu and Ashok. There is a travel desk and reception where you can book all your trekking, passes, travel arrangements. The staff are so helpful and just cant do enough to help. The hotel owner Adam has been investing in the new hotel extension. When finished this will have a raised pool area and rooftop bar. There is a nice roof top area where you can take breakfast with views of the lake and mountain. The hotel is smack bang in the centre of the lakeside area so the location is perfect. The rooms are clean and spacious.
Good accomodations and great rooftop breakfast. Very friendly and engaging owner. Convenient to Lake Fewa, restaurants and shopping. Hot water shower much appreciated!! Safe storage for luggage+ convenient money exchange.
The hotel is undergoing a major refurb & when finished will no doubt the best place to stay in Pokhara. Until then, expect dust, a lot of noise & limited use of the roof terrace. Despite all this, the staff are wonderful, especially the charming gentleman who looked after us so Well at breakfast.
I had been there in December and I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. Most exciting part is that the hotel located at the center of the town and made easy to travel around the city. And of course, without doubt one of the favorite hotel I stayed during my time in Pokhara. I must mention the atmosphere was amazing. P.s--- most memorable experience is that the hotel owner came outside on that chilly morning to drop me off to the bus to Kathmandu.
The staff is very friendly. It is very clean. They clean everyday. The hotel has a very good place, close to everything like ; fastfood, bar, parcs, shop, etc, etc. I stayed for 2 nights and thanks to his placement I could visit alot.
Adam is a nice and welcoming person, very educated and smart. He wants to make Pokhara a better place and works hard developing small business. I will never forget how he ran to us after I and my girlfriend left. We forgot our bus tickets to Kathmandu. Adam gave us a ticket and took us to the bus station. This man has a warm heart and I wish him all the best in his business. What I learned staying in Adam's place is that it is people that build your opinion and memories around the place, and I could not stay in a place better than Adam's. To create a feeling of urgency to leave a good review is a performance every hotel should aim for. Thank you, my dear friend. P.S. Sorry for almost a year-late review. We remember your place and everything you have done for us. We will meet again. Misha…
The stay at adam hotel was amazing!!! The staff and the owner are very friendly, the place is very clean and it has a stunning lakeside view. If you're staying in Pokhara I really recommend this hotel.
We stayed before and after our Poon Hill trekking in hotel Adam. In total 4 nights. We got a big comfortable clean room with a nice hot shower. The breakfast was also very tasty. You can choose from a lot of items. From the roof terrace you have a splendid view at the lake and the snow capped mountains. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. Downstair in the hotel there is a travel agency: Adam tours & travels. They organized the Poon Hill trekking for us with Muku as a guide. It was the best guide we ever had and we had a lot of fun with him. Ten stars Muku! We arranged our stay in the hotel and the trekking by email and mister Basu responded always very quickly and was very clear about the costs. And when we were in Pokhara they also organized paraglyding and bustickets for us. We highly recommend this hotel and travel agency!…
The Hotel Adam is at a great location on Lakeside Centre Point, Pokhara, Nepal. The hotel management & staff were friendly, helpful, & professional. Pokhara is a magical place in so many ways! The easy pace of life & the views of the Himalayas on a clear day are moments to be remembered.
