Dandelion Hotel is within walking distance to Lakeside, Shops and Restaurants. Great hotel, clean, modern amenities, complimentary tea, coffee, water bottles and delicious breakfast! Really comfy beds too. Would request rooms with balcony. Value for Money. Staff are all very kind, courteous & helpful. Nice pool too. Would stay here again.
This is one of my fav hotels at pokhara. It’s situated just few blocks away from the central lakeside, convenient !! The buffet breakfast is awesome and they have maintained the customer service pretty well. Tip: book the balcony rooms
You know some people with less plan. Me and my husband were like that. So, in a foreign country, with less intimacy, we got in trouble how to fix the plan, where to go, where to not. But then, A bengali speaking person, with sweet smile, helped us, heard us what we wanted to visit. She tolerated all our babbling. But in the end, she cared most. Even she helped us to get in return bus. So, yes! Hotel Dandelion will be remembered through Purnima didi. And on a short note: their foods are awesome. ❤️
Our family stayed at this hotel for couple of days booking 5 rooms. The hotel is located minutes away from lakeside and half of the hotel rooms face the fishtail mountain peak. We had a great family time in Pokhara because of its location and our family enjoyed the most happening part of lakeside till late because of its location. Pros— The rooms, beds and the restroom looked clean. A swimming pool with a little pool for kids was useful after a tiring day. My little girl was elated about the tiny pool. The breakfast was good and the service was not bad either. Both the guards we spoke to were very helpful. The staff who checked us out was present, mentally, on his job compared to his colleagues. Cons— Musty lingering smell in rooms. Two of them on the 3rd and the 4th floor at the very end were so bad that we had to move out of those rooms. We were offered two rooms at the very top—on the sixth floor. One was still musty but not as bad as those we left. That required us climb up to the sixth floor, once carrying my girl who was asleep on the way to the hotel. The swimming pool had a bar by the side. One guy was drunk and was leering at the girls in the pool. The way he was communicating to the staff suggest that he was either a staff or a friend. We did not see him on the second day. The communication of staffs on duty was concerning if not poor. Two of the staffs I spoke to were not interested to listen. They stood blank face without any expression and were not willing to engage. The information that we provided to one did not travel to the others requiring us to talk about the same thing multiple times. They did not function as a team. The WiFi was not reliable. One of the rooms had an AC that was not running properly. The musty rooms and communication are clearly the areas that the hotel needs to work on for effective service. Overall, our stay could have been better at other hotels that are service oriented. You can definitely find a lot better place—without a musty lingering smell— in that price range.…
Hotel Dandelion lived upto its expectations. The staff were very humble and down to earth. Great hospitality. The breakfast spread was amazing too. We stayed for 4 nights and had an amazing time. Dandelion being located in the heart of Pokhara made it easy to access multiple restaurants and the famous Phewa Lake. Would definitely come back again and recommend tourists to visit. Next year being the tourist year for Nepal 2020. This place will be happening.
