I had decided to go there with my sisters during my visit in 2019 and we did it during May 2022. It was an amazing stay interacting with friendly and loving lodge keepers Sunitha and Mahindra. The vegetables were from their own garden. We sisters had a great time chatting under the umbrellas on their well keot lawn sipping delicious tea and eating spiced cucumber freshly picked from their garden. Covid has been hard on snall inn keepers I give a high five to Mahindra and Sunitha to continue to serve the best to their visitors!! I will always go back there💖
We absolutely loved our stay at the New Pokhara Lodge! Mahendra and his family made us feel so welcome and were keen to attend to our every need, we left our stay as friends. Beautiful garden where we ate lovely breakfast every morning, fantastic views from the roof garden to catch the sunset! Room was spacious and very clean, shower always hot! Great proximity to Phewa lakeside, calm as slightly away from the hubbub. Would highly recommend and we look forward to staying here again in the future.
Very comfortable and clean place to stay a little away from the busiest streets but a pleasant walk to the centre of town either along the Main Street or the Lakeside path. Good mountain views from the roof.
We stayed almost 2 months in the hotel. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The towmquater is very peacefull. You can reach the Lakeside-Center quickly. The atmosphere is very familiar. The manager of the hotel was very helpful, when we had some problem or issue. We enjoyed the time in Pokhara. Danny and Petra
Pokhara Lodge was really a great place to stay. The owner is very welcoming and even though we were one of the first guests after the pandemic and came spontaneously, the room was perfectly ready! I loved being in a calm place not far from the lake (little far from the main tourist spots of restaurants etc though). We stayed in the basic double room which was spacious and with attached bath with hot shower. It was perfect for this affordable price. Thank you for great hospitality, we wish to come back! Dhanyabad.
Very clean hotel with professional staff and excellent services. My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 3 months and we particularly appreciated the excellent service offered at a reasonable price. Plenty of hot water, fast wifi and a magnificent and well-kept garden are the main features of the New Pokhara Lodge. The view of the mountains from the roof of the hotel is incomparable. Excellent value for money.
i stayed here during the annual Pokhara street festival . The GH is located in a silent alley , close , but out of the busy Lakeside .GH has a small indoor garden to relax . the host turned out to be friendly & helpfull , at the end drove us to the busstation for free early morning . The stay booked with Agoda wasn't very cheap , but was worth it .
A fantastic stay! The hotel has been our home for 5 days. It is charming and relaxing. The view from the roof, the breakfast in the garden and the discussions with the owner delighted us. Great location, close to the lake.
My brother and I staid a total of 3 nights and it was just great. The attention from the very first moment was very warm, as well as the help every singles worker offers if anything is needed. The location is great: close to the lake where you can take a boatride. Just 5 minutes on foot to get to good restaurant and stores on a quite promenade. Rooms are cleaned, ready to be used since the very first moment. They've got fans, good showers and WC and beds are comfortable. The breakfast was also great, served always with a smile. Any day I come back to Nepal, I'll visit again without any doubt this lidge.
We stayed here for 2 nights. My single room cost $16 per night, a bargain. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom fine, and there was a flat-screen TV with all the channels. The manager, Raj, was extremely friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the garden. I was able to check my email on the hotel desktop computer. The hotel is well-placed for walking to the lake and the tourist area, At the lakeside each evening we witnessed the aarti ceremony, which is unmissable.
