Temple Tree Resort & Spa is a boutique hotel combining western standards with the distinctive architecture and culture of Nepal’s Western Himalayas. Named after the fragrant temple tree plant frangipani found here, we offer a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, privacy when preferred and attentive service. Nestling close by Fewa Lake in the Pokhara Valley, Temple Tree is framed by the foothills and majestic peaks of the Annapurna Mountain Range. The air here is pure and clean, and the sub-tropical climate warm and pleasant.

On the recommendation of a tour guide friend we stayed at Temple Tree Resort in Pokhara in January. It was more expensive than many others but it was a piece of tranquility in the middle of town - no traffic or any other noise at all. The facilities are good, the rooms very comfortable and the staff extremely helpful, a delight in fact. It's like a good resort anywhere else in the world with none of the compromises so often necessary in Nepal. When we came back after trekking we appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of Temple Tree even more. Highly recommended.

One oddity - with added taxes and extras it's cheaper to book through an online group than it is with the resort directly.

Absolutely stunning stay at temple tree. Not a very big property but perfectly kept and maintained. no doubt, its the best in Pokhara. Perfect location to roam around Pokhara. Space around the swimming deck, outdoor dining area and bar are perfectly connected. Nice for a family vacay. Though the restaurant doesnt have many indian vegetarian options, the location serves well to roam around and find a good restaurant. Very near to Phewa lake.
A little high on budget but once you experience the property, you The Spa service can improve a little.
They even upgraded my room without extra charge... Very helpful staff in arranging adventure activities and even helped in booking my return air tickets to Kathmandu.
Highly recommended.... for everyone.

What a relaxing past couple of days we had at Temple Tree, Pokhara. This beautiful boutique hotel is situate on the quite side of the lakeside, which we were looking for, but hustle butsle is not very far away too. Restaurants are in walking distance and boat rides are a few minutes aways.

Right after you step in their premise, prepare yourself for some great hospitality and a relaxing experience. So much that you don't even want to get out the resort. The rooms are comfortable enough but their pool and garden area deserves an honourable mention. So beautiful and so relaxing. Me and my girlfriend literally extended our stay at Pokhara because we were just not done. And also, they literally upgraded our room which was a cherry on top.

As this is a time of great horror for the entire world due to COVID19 we knew that travelling may invite major risk but we decide to go for the trip anyway and I must say that they were on their toes to make sure the resort was santized regularly and the guest felt safe throughout.

Thank you Temple Tree, really looking forward to see you again.

The name (“resort”) and the photos on the internet suggest a much nicer venue. Xmas 2019 we stayed here 2 nights in a Super de Luxe room with a small balcony. On photos (also the ones we took) the room looks very nice but in reality it is a very basic room. Also the name of the room (super de luxe) creates an expectation which was not met. Unfortunately the room is also very noisy, you can hear everything from the corridor.
Staff in the hotel is very friendly and helpful.
The first day the Wi-Fi in the room was very weak and very slow. To receive and send e-mails we had to stand on the balcony. After complaining they fixed it the next day but the same evening we had to stand on the balcony again.
The hotel has an excellent location: in a quiet street and less than 5 min walk from the lake and you will find dozens of restaurants at walking distance (our favorite is Utopia at 15 min. walk).
The room has a small fridge and a kettle to make coffee or tea. The bathroom is small and basic and has one sink. Complimentary bottled water is provided.
The hotel has a restaurant, a bar, an outdoor unheated swimming pool and a Spa which we didn’t visit. Breakfast buffet is good.

Dear Guest, Greetings from the Temple Tree Resort and Spa! Thank you for taking time out to review us in trip advisor and choosing to stay with us. We are very sorry to know that we did not meet up to your expectation during your stay with us. We did note the WIFI problem in your room and tried to fixed it during your stay with us by calling service provider, and was working. But again, in the morning we came to know, it went off at night time. After knowing, we really felt bad. Please accept our sincere apologies, and if possible please give us another change to make it up to you because we shall not leave any stone un turned to prove to you how passionate we to serve our guest. Thank you again and wish to see you again. With Best Regards, Neelam

Words cannot describe how fantastic this hotel is. From start to finish, the staff are faultless and the experience is of a top standard.
Our room was very spacious and with a view, it was cleaned daily. Fresh fruit and biscuits are delivered daily also.
Staff are some of the most professional I have experienced. They engage, smile and remember your name, your room number and your food and drink preferences.
They rung us in the room after each excursion to ensure we were satisfied which is not the norm in most hotels.

They made the extra effort to surprise us with a birthday cake also.
Breakfast is of a super quality and a very good range is offered.
The pool is more than sufficient and tranquil, people who suggest it is too small should not expect an Olympic sized pool within a luxury resort!!!!!

GoGoGoGo! You will not be disappointed, we WILL return ourselves.

Location: The location is not bad as the lake is near and also the markets are close by. If you are interested to go to places such as Busy Bee or Byanjan it takes about 10-15 min walk.

Staff: The staffs were really kind and polite.

Room: The room is very spacious, and it has facilities such as TV, minifridge safe, cupboard, ac, and others.

WiFi: They have free WiFi but the net is slow.

Noise: The room is sound proof and I was not disturbed at all.

SPA: They do have SPA. But it is more expensive than the ones outside and literally in every block you can see either SPA or Tattoo parlor.

Meal: The breakfast is delicious (opening time 6:00 to 9:30), we have had breakfast in the hotel and it is very delicious with variety of choices.

Room service: They do have room service here in the hotel. I ordered a meal around 23:30 it was still available.

Swimming pool: they do have swimming pool and I think too Jacuzzi too.

Overall: I really had good experience in the hotel. It was not far from other restaurants, SPA or boat ride. So we walked most of the time. The rooms were good too but one thing I did not like was the curtain in the shower instead of the glass door. Hence, the water spread everywhere. Besides that its really good hotel.

You feel rested the moment you come through the doors, stayed here for 2 nights en-route and back from a tour of chitwan. It was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 2 week visit to Nepal. Rooms were very spacious and clean and the bathrooms were above the grade of the hotel, and more like 5 star, the common areas are beautifully kept with lovely plants and an immaculate pool, breakfasts were very nice, this place really is a little gem. I used the spa for a massage also which was amazing, staff were very friendly. Chefs at breakfast were accommodating and the fresh eggs cooked exactly as you requested. It is a great location near everything you would need in a peaceful part of town. Definitely would return.

We stayed here for 3 nights; we were really impressed with the location - easy walking distance to the lake but off the main lake road. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but we really enjoyed all our meals at the hotel. They do an excellent espresso martini! Staff are all eager to please and very helpful. Would definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Temple Tree Resort. The staff was very warm and gracious and helpful. Five star service!!! The buffet breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, watermelon juice , cook to order omelet, and many other dishes to savor!
Our room was comfortable and spacious with a lovely balcony.
They have a beautiful swimming pool, large outdoor patio with a fire pit, outdoor bar, delicious cafe mocha, espresso, rooftop where you can view the magnificent Annapurna mountain range and Fish Tail Mountain....breathtaking indeed!!

The Resort is only steps away from Phewa Lake where you can rent a boat and admire the peaceful scenery of this beautiful town.

I highly recommend this Resort in Pokhara!
We had a fabulous time there!

Fabulous location to tour and visit Pokhara. The views of the Annapurna range from my room and balcony were a bonus. Very comfortable room and bed with every amenity you need. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even trying to teach up Nepali :-) Food was great, good range on the breakfast bar and staff were extra helpful for my coeliac friend. Had a massage in the spa too which was very good. All in all a great refuge from the busy city and excellent 'chill out' place.
