A nice way to relax before and after my Himalayan Trek across the Annapurna. I had a night both sides of my climb where management looked after my spare bag, passport and valuables. They couldn’t have made me feel safer looking after my belongings. The bed was comfortable and shower hot, especially after the climb! Good location close to main shopping strip and restaurants. Good coffee next door as well.

Owner doesnt care about quality of guests.we stayed over a period of env.7 years everytime more then 2 month and were considered part of the familly.we suffered a lot because of dust of his permanent construction side and many inconveniences(pizza behind etc.) and esp.with loud guests.on our last complaints the owner accused us to be the reason he lost a lots of guest because of my direct complaints often after midnight...!!! Reckless bad behaved guests seem to be more important then friends who only came back, despite all the problems to be loyal to his familly !!!

Nice hotel with a malicious staff. If there is a possibility to ripp you off, they will do so. There are a lots of hotels in Pokhara with friendly and reliable staff, but you won't find that in hotel Mandala.

PROS: located very close to the Main Street of Pokhara, lovely helpful owner and staff, big rooms each with a veranda, comfortable queen bed plus a single bed, relaxing sunny courtyard garden, free wifi. CONS: shower is part of the bathroom with no separation so about 2/3 of the floor gets wet after your shower, sometimes the shower water doesn't get hot, no plug in the sink , no safe to leave your valuables or passport, wifi only works in the back rooms in the early mornings but is fine on the front common veranda or in the garden area all the time . Overall this is a very comfortable, pleasant and friendly hotel in which to spend your stay in Pokhara
