Sanja the front desk manager made our stay fantastic. He gave advice on many questions regarding trekking, medical emergencies and more. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel reminded of an old colonial building. The hotel dog Poekoe was one of the staff that added to a value for money stay.
I can’t begin to describe how much I love this place. I stayed for a month and every single day was a joy. Sanjay, who works reception, is the real backbone of the hotel. From the jump he took care of me like a sister. Saved my room when I checked out for a week at a time, booked buses, but more than that. He was the smiling face and humor I needed when traveling solo. As a solo woman, it’s important that you feel safe and accounted for and this hotel BY FAR did this for me. Buddhi always always ready for a laugh and delicious masala milk tea in the morning. If you need a long term stay, or even just for a night, this is your place. And just wait til you meet Puku!!
Among all the hotels in lakeside area of pokhara. This is a great hotel and the kids loved the garden area! Breakfast was wonderful and The staff is really good which made me coming back " this location has a great set of people, they are wonderful and so sweet and always working hard!!! And the one thing is this hotel got a lovely cottage which is very good to hangout and relax there and there is also a cute and well trained dog called puku🐶. the employees are just so darn nice and great! this staff is the best!!! Amazing Overall this is a great hotel and I would definitely stay here again!!!
Super friendly staff during the stay really clean and breakfast was freshly prepared and friendly atmosphere feel like home. The beautiful garden with bird sound was really amazing. The hotel itself located in handy distance to the lake. The staffs were so responsive to your requirement. We stayed here before the trek and after our trek too. They assist us to keep the luggage in storage which we do not need for the trek. Also booked a guide and he is smart and knowledgeable. Sajnaya was nice and able to help quite well if you wanted to book anything. It’s a budget hotel with high standards of hospitality and services great value for money. We will definitely comeback again. Highly recommended. Much love from Mr. & Mrs. Kendall
Amazing Hotel this is my second time with my family at Silver oaks in pokhara I booked the hotel because of the garden was so beautiful, swing which is relaxing peaceful you can hear bird sounds. And it was family environment. Amazing place, with amazing garden , very clean rooms and toilets, the staff was very friendly and made us feel at home, the location is central and not far from the main street . We extended 1 nights in Pokhara just for how much we were comfortable there. Great value for money. Cleanest is perfect. They have free information travel and tour organized as well Whis is very easy, Definitely come back.
There are over a thousand hotels in Pokhara but my favourite lakeside hotel is the Silver Oaks Inn. I have been staying there over the past ten years and it was wonderful to return there in July 2022 for the first time in over two years and find everything as good as previous years. The entrance garden is beautiful and lovingly cared for and the foyer is clean and spacious. Silver Oaks is family run and many of the staff have been with them for years. The rooms are very clean and it was good to find the bathrooms have been renovated. You can also do any washing up on the roof and hang it there, or send it to the local laundry. They also have a travel desk and can organise transport, day trips or treks. Breakfast is included in the room rate and you can enjoy the beautiful front garden or sit inside in the dining area. It is just a short walk down the road to the lovely Lake Phew Tal. Can highly recommend Silver Oaks Inn in Pokhara.…
Everything about this hotel was wonderful! We ended our 11 day Annapurna circuit trek here, and liked it so much we decided to stay an extra week. The staff (in particular Sanjay!) were friendly, welcoming, helpful and never too busy to stop to answer questions or help with buying bus tickets. The room was great, spacious, clean, hot shower, with fresh towels and room cleaning upon request. Very good central location but away from the busier main road, however the star of the hotel has to be the hotel dog, Puco! Would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Pokhara.
I have stayed at this hotel almost a decade ago and booked again for my recent Pokhara visit with family. The property is even better this time. Clean hotel, wonderful staff, central location, great value for money.
My wife and I spent a month here during quarantine and we couldn’t have had a better stay. Everyone was so nice and accommodating in every way. The owner gave us a discount because of the lockdown and they even gave us free meals from time to time. Highly recommended to all Thank you 🙏
We stayed only two nights of our intended stay of 6 nights as we had to quickly return to India as it was closing its borders to foreigners at midnight due to the corona virus. Silver Oaks is a great place, excellent location with a lovely garden to relax in. The rooms are clean and the staff very attentive. The included breakfast and cappuccinos were the best of all of our stays. Manager Bikram had us booked on two flights to get to India within 40 minutes of us receiving the travel advisory. Thank you and we are very grateful for your help at what became a very stressful time.
