We had a group retreat at the hotel with around 53 people. The owner, Kiran, was exemplary in his hospitality. The rooms were some of the nicest we have seen in Nepal, and the showers were without question the best; the water was instantly hot! Unlike many Nepali hotels, Sunshine was bright, open, airy with great attention to detail. The beds were comfortable, the conference room was spacious, and the internet connection was consistent. The food was also delicious, though I recommend ordering the buffet if you have a large group. All in all, a great stay and I look forward to visiting again!
The hotel is really good, the rooms are amazingly spacious and clean, very artistic, the scenery is majestic, the hotel is a bit in a far area of the city however very serene if you want some peace of mind :) the staff are so friendly and they went out of their way to make us happy :)
Waking up to the view of Mt.Annapurna, listening to the river gurgling downstream, the rays of the sun glistening on the beautiful pool is what Sunshine is all about. It is not just a view it is a beauty, which gives memory of a lifetime. It is not just the exterior Sunshine is beautiful inside out. From the food (Their Jhol momo must try), to the very courteous staff and the beautiful rooms designed with intricate detailing is something rare. It is a destination to unwind and rejuvenate yourself -- the pictures added will speak for the words penned.
I would highly recommend this resort for the location, hospitality, food, comfort, amenities, and most importantly SERVICE!. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The resorts location has a spectacular view of the mountain range. The food is outstanding. If you would like a particuler dish that may not be on the menu, the staff will do their best to accommodate your request. The pool is great if you need to dip in during the warm days. Most importantly the staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. I am planning to visit them again in future. It was money well spent. I am looking forward visiting them again. Sunshine resort keep up the good job and Thanks for all your help and service during my stay.
One of the best places in Nepal, Pokhara, perfect for our family, peace and tranquility means this place. Swimming pool is amazing with an amazing view over the mountains of the Himalayas. Staff is very nice and helpful. Restaurant and food is very good, lot’s of options and breakfast is included. Rooms are perfect for two/three people or a family, even rooms with connecting doors. Very nice relax place and the shuttle will take you into town if you like shipping/sail the lake or go for a hike.
