Best views in the world, all round - to Annapurna Range, over Pokhara, over the World Peace Pagoda and for sunsets and sunrises. Great staff who are always friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms, good local food.

Though climbing 500 steps with my 5 year old did not seem to be an appealing idea at first, we all enjoyed every moment of our stay at the retreat. The sunset view from the terrace, majestic view of Annapurna Range and breathtaking sunrise view from our room made it all a heavenly experience! The full moon night view of...

The scenic beauty from the resort is just incredible...wasn't good weather during my stay so i get bored because of poor connection of wifi, no hot water in room and no tv as well...hoping for extra facilities sooner at the hotel...otherwise a good place to see the mountains n sunrise

I spent two nights at the Raniban, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent. The view across Phewa Lake to The Annapurna Himal is stunning and brought back wonderful memories of my Trek in 2000 to Annapurna Base Camp. My rating for the Raniban is 10/10.

As I heard a lot about Raniban Retreat, decided to celebrate Nepali New Year Eve 2074 and spent a couple of days there with friends and family. As we arrived, noticed immediately this Raniban Retreat Resort is very different from others. Some 500 stairs up from Bishwo Shanti Stupa, it is the most peaceful resort. We can see great view...

4 star because we had to walk uphill for 20 mins to reach the place. And while hiking there it started raining. It became more difficult. When we reached the stairs of Raniban retreat staff were waiting for us with umbrella. After that everything was good. The view was perfect. We could see Pokhara Valley clearly. The rooms were perfect....

Raniban has an absolutely wonderful view in a very secluded part of Pohkara. Unlike any other lodging i have found in nepal. If you re looking for great food, service and accomodations, then this is the place to go and all profits go toward heading the community!!

Dear Guest, "Namaste" from Raniban . Thank you for this wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that your stay here was an enjoyable one. We do pride ourselves in being a bit different from most of the hotels/resorts that surround our area. The 522 steps to reach Raniban, being fully solar powered, using organic farming, the non-usage of heavy...

It's quite remote but that also brings you peace and quiet. Especially you don't have to trek for seeing sunrise, it just in front of you room. The food was delicious , staffs are friendly and try their best to provide service

Dear Guest, "Namaste" from Raniban. Thank you for the kind review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay here at Raniban. Since exclusivity is one of our major selling point, we've tried to preserve our place as a secluded destination. After all, what's exclusivity if it's accessible to everyone, isn't it ? Otherwise, we do not feel that we are...

From the rooftop terrace, you can see three of the tallest ten mountains in the world, as well as the iconic Fishtail Mountain, which is a mere 30 kilometers in front of you.
