Located on top of the Sarangkot hills, overlooking the Phewa lake of Pokhara, it offers a blissful stay when in this part of the world! This hotel is a very basic, budget hotel with the best of service any traveler can ask for. The owner who also is the chef , dishes out simple yet amazingly tasty food, all freshly prepared and to the order. The location of the hotel is fabulous, with views of the Annapurna Range and also the Lake and Pokhara town. Though I was unlucky with the weather, I would say that the time sitting in the balcony and getting a feel of the life of the locals, was well worth it. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in Sarangkot hill top.

The lodge have a great view of the Pokhara Valley and Anapurna range. From the lodge 10 minutes hike up to the main view point for sunrise and sunset. The room is clean, big window and roomy, comes with a balcony. Bath room is clean and hot shower work well. Wifi is available with good connection. The breakfast simple but delicious.

Two families stayed after a 20 km day of trekking . We were received by Tikka and his family who had the rooms ready to go just as we couldn’t take another step ! Four out of three rooms had jaw dropping views over the valley and Phokara .Mine had a nice view too. All of our rooms had en-suite bathroom with shower and European loo. Best of all a HOT shower!!! The family made our dinner from scratch . I recommend the fried dumplings or momos. We didn’t have to go anywhere except upstairs which was great because we were exhausted . We ordered dinner on arrival so they had time to prepare. The beds are super comfy and white linen. Rooms are spotlessly clean . We had ours recommended by our local guide . The rate online is only $27 a night . To see an even more spectacular sunrise view including Annapurna wake at 6.30 am to see the sunrise at 6.45am From the top of the stairs next to the hotel . It doesn’t get better. And the banana pancakes and apple pancakes with chai tea are amongst the best I have had . Enjoy!

Thoroughly recommend this hotel. We had an amazing view of Pokhara from our room. The hotel was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable. The shower was hot with good pressure. There is a roof top restaurant and the food is some of the best we have had in Nepal. Our hosts could not have been better. We hope to come back when we are next in Pokhara. Really good value. Thank you for making our short stay so memorable
