We were staying at Pokhara for about 5 nights for Valentine’s Day and we only booked Bodhi Suites for our whole stay. To be honest I didn’t have high expectations as I knew it was a sort of budget hotel and not a lux 5* hotel but I did expect well trained staffs. We were told about this b&b deal with airport pickup & drop off and we went for it. As mentioned hotel did come pick us up & helped with the luggage, upon check in I found that receptionist lacked training there were two lady at the front desk and they didn’t bothered greeting us properly. Check in was a bit weird as they just asked us to fill up a form and gave us the key and said breakfast is from this to this time, i was confused as she didn’t provide us with more hotel info/amenities or double checked length of our stay or tariff, I even asked her ‘is that it, check is completed?’ And she said yes. We both were tired & hungry so we just went to our room and decided to deal with it later. Rooms were Okay nothing special but the bath was hideous no proper drainage and whole bathroom would be wet after a shower. We were on the 4th floor so we were near to the pool, pool area has so much potential but the area looked like it wasn’t taken care of. Breakfast as well was average, limited options and repetitive. The most annoying thing during my stay was no housekeeping service which wasn’t provided even after calling and checking with the front desk. On the Valentine’s Day I called front desk to send housekeeping and she mentioned me that since it’s Valentine’s Day today’s hotel rate will be higher will you be staying or leaving, I was so shocked and angry as upon booking I clearly mentioned the length of my stay and I was given a clear rate, no one bothered to mention me during phone convo or check in that there would be a different rate so I told her that we were not happy. She did talked to her manager and agreed to charge us what we were told. But we were still upset not because of few hundred extra but the lack of communication and mismanagement. We decided to leave Bodhi Suites the next day and moved to Barahi next door. Overall I feel like they could do better but need a better management and training.…
Pleasing environment, beautiful rooms and exquisite facility. Had a wonderful experience. Would like to thank Ms. Mamta Chettri for being so kind and helpful during our visit. Hope to visit the hotel again.
I had stayed in this hotel prior covid pandemic and was looking forward to staying here again. This time I stayed with my sister here for 5 nights, it was the best choice as I already knew their service. Hotel is located just 5 minutes walk from the lake side. As always it was wonderful staying here and due to covid pandemic there were hardly any guest. Breakfast was excellent and they have a chinese restaurant which serves an authentic Chinese food. I highly recommend trying their chinese and as always look forward to coming back here again. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay pleasant and even during these pandemic keeping the hotel Safe, hygiene and providing an excellent service.
We stayed in this hotel last February and had the most amazing experience. The rooms and restaurant was very good, but what stood out the most was the staff. They did everything to make you feel at home and make your stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend to recover here for a few days after hiking in the beautiful surrounding area.
Had enjoyed my stay (2 nights) here. The staff are ever helpful and friendly (reception, cafe). Nice comfortable room with an excellent view of the Himalayans (morning). I woke up to an amazing view which took my breath away. The buffet breakfast was good and the servers were very attentive and helpful. Location of the hotel is good as it is within walking distance to shopping area (main road). Would definitely stay here if I ever return to Pokhara.
