Hotel Pokhara Batika is located on the 7th Street. It’s five minutes walk from the Great Lake of the town. From the balcony of the room you can see the lake. Tourist Information Centre is just across the road. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast offered by the Hotel in the Continental Plan is simply superb. The staff, in general, are cooperative. On the whole it’s worth staying here for couple of days.
We stayed here after our trek to Everest base camp. We had a very good stay. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. We didn't have dinner but we did have breakfast. The breakfast was good, although not as good as we had in other hotels during our stay in Nepal. The reason is that there was not a lot of choice in the drinks (mostly milk or coffee/tea and sometimes juice). The food was nice, especially the patato's. Our room was pretty large and we had te most amazing view an hotel could ever offer. Every morning we were able to see the lake, and also to see mt Fishtail! The facilities in the hotel are very nice and tidy. The hotel is very clean.
Stayed here before and after a trek to ABC. Staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Hotel was located on a quiet street just off the lake, and adjacent to the main shopping street. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Nepal and Pokhara!
We stayed at the Pokhara Batika on our way to and from the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The hotel is really nice, located just a short ride away from the bus depot on a quiet alley. Everything was clean, and the room was nice with plenty of places for our gear. It's the kind of hotel that as a westerner, you have to remind yourself not to drink the tap water since you could easily mistake it for a nice hotel in the US.
Please do yourself a favor and book a room at Batika Hotel, a heavenly haven in the Himalayas. The rooms on the 6th floor are spacious, spotless and have spectacular views. The courteous, professional staff made my 2 month stay most memorable. I truly felt like a member of the Batika Family! I wish to extend my deepest gratitude to Rakesh and Anil for being outstanding human beings (and excellent managers), and to Nikesh, Helmond, and Krishna for their compassionate service when I needed it most.
Did stay in Pakhara Batika for business for a few days. First of all, even in this crazy covid-19 time it is fuly operatable, and standards are quite high. It is not Hyatt, of course, but on its level it is a gem. Interrior is simple, but with wooden elements, that gives some relax. Then, real hot water! The elevator and AC work. The restaurant iserves good and food is tasty, but keep in mind working hours. Don't expect to be served by 10pm. So, if the swimming pool is not necessity, I cincirely recommend to stay.
I thoroughly recommend staying at Hotel Batika in Pokhara. I had a wonderful stay there with my friends in October 2020. The room was ideal and very comfortable and the price was reasonable. The customer service from the staff was excellent and they were very welcoming! They are a great testament to hotel. The hotel is well located, in close proximity to both the Lakeside (Fewa Lake) and Pokhara Airport. Breathtaking views of the Himalayas can be seen too!
I have recently returned from Pokhara, Nepal after having spent two and a half weeks there. I stayed at Batika Hotel the entire time. It was like returning home again, as this was the second time I have stayed here. The staff are fantastic, very accommodating and friendly. The facilities are great, rooms super clean and large and the restaurant excellent. I wouldn’t look at staying anywhere else in Pokhara. Highly recommend this hotel.
I opted for this hotel when the one my travel company booked did not do it for me. This hotel was clean and really very nice. They were very helpful to deal with especially when my plans changed and I needed extra nights. Breakfast was not my favourite but the room was really nice and had lots of hot water and a comfy bed. There is lots of choice in Pokhara but I really liked my choice to stay here.
Very nice hotel, well located for the lake and town with comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Nice and clean and friendly staff. Good Thakali restaurant just opposite too. We stored luggage here while trekking.
