I've spent wonderful days in Pokhara thanks to this lovely hotel, located in a very quiet neighbourhood, near from Fewa lake. The garden is charming and the hosts so warm and welcoming. It was my fifth stay in this hotel and now I feel there quite as at home.
Fantastic place to be! We have been staying here before and after our trek. Super guesthouse, super staff! They do everything for you, making you feeling home. It can’t be better. Very highly recommended!
I stayed at The New Annapurna Guest House before and after trekking. I had a really good experience staying here, the owners create a very comfortable family environment. The accommodation was affordable and the room was very comfortable including a huge breakfast each morning. I would definitely recommend this place for someone looking for affordable accommodation and still wanting the privacy of a self contained room. Special thanks to Surya ( I think that’s his name) for going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.
I was in Pokra in the month of January. The guest house is amazing. The staff is very welcoming. There is a very beautiful and well-maintianed garden. After the trek, you really need to relax and it is a great place. We booked a room with three single beds and the view from the room was amazing. The best part is it's close to the main road, where the street food festival usually goes on by the end of December. They provide a good breakfast from their own farm.
I highly recommend the guesthouse after staying alltogether about two weeks after and between treks. I found it the perfect place for recovering after the latest trip and preparing for the next one. A short walk off the main road the guesthouse buildings are situated around a flowerng garden where you can have your breakfast in the morning or hang out with the friendly family that runs the guesthouse. The rooms are big and clean, the standard a bit above what you can expect in the category. The Wifi was working without problems in the rooms and in the garden. Alltogether a close to luxurious stay at a budget price.
Very friendly and helpful host and family, I felt really welcome. The day I left for ABC he even made me breakfast at quarter to five! Rooms and bathrooms very clean. Great breakfast with toast, eggs, juice, tea (or coffee), fruit and sometimes muesli with joghurt. I would have liked more than one cup of tea, but it was the same in Kathmandu, so maybe not usual. Nice little garden. I stayed in the red brick building, the TV was no flat screen as mentioned, but who cares, I did not use it anyway😂. Wifi worked in the third floor a bit slow, but still good enough. In my second stay the toilet flush was not working but they fixed it in an instant and got it repaired early next morning, perfect. Shower was hot (though it took some time to get hot) and pressure was strong. The host organized a shared jeep transport to a starting point for ABC and a bus ticket to Lumbini. Location was great for me, starting Lakeside and close to TIMS/ACAP office and tourist bus station. There was some early noise from neighbour buildings though, so if you are not an early riser maybe try to get a room in the grey building (but maybe this one is more expensive?). I really enjoyed my stay there!…
A very friendly family run guesthouse. Rooms were very good and very clean. The breakfasts were lovely. Close walk to the tourist district of Pokhara. We used it as our accommodation at the start and end of our Annapurna trekking.
I strongly recommend:) We spent a couple of days in New Annapurna Guesthouse. The owner was super nice and more than helpful! He helped with information, bus tickets etc. the hotel and room very clean and tidy, hot water :) breakfast tasty with some fruits. Hotel located on a little side road, which makes it calmer and easier to sleep in comparison not very loud lake side. The air was also cleaner there :) and the Mountain View!!!
Booked for 2 stays at accommodation either side of our Poon Hill Trek - on arrival we were met at the guest house gates by the owner who quickly helped us with our luggage and guided us to the reception area. We were given cool guava juice (guava grown in the garden).whilst booking in. Our rooms were both deluxe double with a mountain view (all of the Annapurna Range is visible to the North of Pokhara). We had a small balcony and views over the beautiful guest house gardens. The family run guest house is immaculate and they work continuously to keep everything so. Our rooms had ceiling fans and air conditioning with towels and a few toiletries supplied. A laundry service is also available at the guest house. We used a left luggage service at the guest house to leave a rucsac whilst away trekking. Breakfast is delicious and served in a small dining area near to reception. The owner of the guest house also gave us a tour of his vegetable garden and also showed us his 2 cows and little 3 month old calf.…
Coming to Pokhara when I was looking for New Annapurna, I never thought it would be such a nice and lovely family like experience. The guest house is simply different than the others with a very beautiful garden, one water fountain and one dog and a cat. The whole experience is so mesmerising that I totally forgot that I am thousand miles away from home. It felt like this was my home. Beside providing a heavenly experience of home the hotel also provides really nice breakfast with hot eater running all day long. A nice and clean and comfy bed and also a bathroom that is totally clean as well. In words this was a sheer perfection that the owner created. Highly recommended to travellers whether single, couple or group.
