To stay at the Castle was again a pleasure, Two weeks of pure relaxation and excellent cuisine. I booked two of the daytrecks and Sofie was a superb guide. We had lunchpackets with chickenwings and a bottle red wine with us and enjoyed the fabulous few on the himalayas. At night we all set by the fire and had a...

Thank you Hunabku260. We hope you can make it again later this year, business permitting. I also enjoyed our evenings together with a beer by the fire. Joe

For resting and swimming you can't find a better place to stay here. The view is beautiful over the lake. But if you want to see something therefor the location is very poor. It costs you 500 Rupie to go up and the way is terrible. At our time the internet doesn't working. And for an extra cup of tee...

I enjoy jumping in the deep end with my fiends ans seating in the lounging chairs drinking wine and having delicious snacks. The water is heated by Solar Panels. the rooms are very cozy and the dinner is excellent. highly recommended . I never forget when we all went swimming at midnight with the full moon.

We came to this resort with our 14 months old son and his grandparents. All three generations loved it! Plenty of safe places for the baby to play, for the parents to be active and for the grandparents to relax. Sofie and Joe are amazing hosts, very friendly and generous. The food is great and all staff are extremely friendly....

The pros: lovely location right on the hill overlooking Pokhara with a pleasant garden and very nice owners and a tiny dipping pool The cons: small rooms with intermittent wifi. The breakfast is really basic, for example no juice is included in the price. The dinner was average and we were given the wrong food twice. To get to the...

I had visited the Castle Resort in fall 2012. Now I came back with my wife in December 2014. As during our previous stay, we found a very warm, cosy atmosphere there; our hosts Sofia and Joe were again very friendly and always had time for a chat. We enjoyed very much the cosy, heated lobby (the fireplace oven was...

We first stayed with Joe and Sofia back in 2005. Since then The Castle has really blossomed. The accommodation is always totally clean and most comfortable. We stayed in the ‘the castle’ itself on 3 occasions, so this time opted to try a garden cottage. A delightful change, enjoying the tranquility of the beautiful gardens nurtured by Sofia and her...

The hotel certainly has amazing views from the hill top and the staff are all very friendly and try their best to please their guests. The rooms were clean although much smaller than we had expected; the rooms had no safe deposit box or phones. The wifi was very intermittent and not great. Getting to and from the resort was...
