I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in April 2019 and May 2022, and I would definitely choose it again the next time that I visit Pokhara. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The air conditioning works great and is very quiet. A big plus is that the bathroom actually contains a full tub with shower, rather than the usual showers in the bathroom at that always flood the entire bathroom floor in most other Nepal hotels. The service staff are always available and very friendly helpful. Wifi works great in the rooms. The food is excellent at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is superbly located across the street from Phewa Lake and very near a broad variety of shopping and dining opportunities.

Kudos to all the staff here, especially Mr Sunil the manager, Sushmita & Pushpa at reception, Sharmila and also Shyam who served us at breakfast (awesome brekkie here) with warmth and smiles during our week stay. They are professional and always proactive, we even got an upgrade into the Honeymoon suite and deluxe room and we felt completely safe and immensely enjoyed this quaint, beautiful hotel with the lovely rooftop views of the lake and mountains. Only the hot water was a bit fiddly but no other complaints, the bathrooms were comfortable and rooms spacious and clean. It's close enough to the action but comfortably tranquil from the hustle and bustle. Previously, we stayed at Temple Tree but the experience this time at Glacier was far superior. Keep it up!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Glacier during NYE. We had the Honeymoon Suite, which is the only room on the top floor, and it was really nice! There is a convertible AC in the room, which was really important as the temperatures in winter are freezing. We booked the room on the hotel website, and all reservations made on their website have 2 tours included in the package, and we were really glad to take advantage of both tours. The tours are arranged by the hotel's management, and both of them were really enjoyable as they take you to some places you would never have thought of going... And these places are truly beautiful, especially the ones outside Pokhara. The management also kindly organized a last minute Helicopter trip to the ABC, which was the highlight of our trip. Please arrange the ABC tour with the Glacier's team as they work with the best Heli-Company in Pokhara, ensuring your safety. A very smart choice. Cleanliness in the hotel is OK, they should refurbish some parts (bathroom tiles were missing, for example) but nothing really serious to note. Breakfast could be better as there was a very limited choice of pastries. Staff very pleasant, especially the lady at breakfast who would do anything in order to ensure your satisfaction. Thank you for great stay, and we do hope to come back next year!

We stayed two nights at the Glacier and couldn’t fault the service or the hospitality here. Sunil, the manager, pulled out all the stops: he found us the best room for our needs and helped us arrange our long awaited trip to Muktinath. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff, including the owner, were a delight to deal with and customer service was excellent. The location was perfect for us - lakeside but in a quieter part of town so we got a good night’s sleep too!

The Glacier is a lovely hotel situated on the lakeside. The staff and owner are very friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are spacious and had great Mountain View’s. The bar, restaurant and outside courtyard are perfect areas to escape the huddle and bustle of the main strip. Great food and a selection of local beers made this a perfect place to rest and recovery after our trekking on the Mardi Himal. Pokhara is a wonderful city which we will definitely return to.

I didn’t stay there but during the current lock down time in Nepal they offer free meals for foreign people. You can can have either a vegetarian curry or a panini. It’s simple and delicious food and more than kind and hospitable from the hotel to offer free lunch. I‘m very thankful for that opportunity. The staff who gives out the meals is also very open and kind. Thanks a lot and have a good time, hopefully the situation will get better soon. All the best 🙏🏼

I can't recommend this place enough. The location was perfect (lakefront but with mountain views from the upper floors), easy walking to shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was clean, well-decorated, and the A/C, wifi, and water pressure were all excellent. And all this is not to mention the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, managers, and owner, who not only made my stay comfortable but also helped to quickly and easily arrange a trek when my original booking fell through. Glacier was wonderful, and I will definitely look to stay here again on my return to Pokhara.

Glacier is one the best hotel with spa in Pokhara. I stayed almost a month there and every morning i woke with a beautiful view of fishtail mountain and fewa lake. I spent my 1 month holiday in a paradise and felt like my home. Hotel and restaurant service was excellent, exceptionally clean and amazing food from Harbour. Staffs were very friendly and hotel manager Sunil even helped me with some paper work that i needed for some official reason. Highly recommend this place and next time as well i will be staying in this hotel in pokhara for sure and still missing Harbour’s menu, esp breakfast. Anyone looking forward for a clean, safe and good hotel to stay in pokhara with amazing food, then this is the one guys. Andrian G.

The Glacier hotel is a very detail oriented establishment. The owner is very present and attentive to your every need. The rooms are very clean and modern. The resturantt serves great food and the best coffee in town. The kitchen lives up to European standards in regards to cleanliness. Overall this hotel is, in my humble opinion, the best in Pokhara.

The Glacier Hotel is the most modern and up to date hotel in Pokhara. The rooms are of amazing quality with plenty of space and roomservice of highest standard. Their balcony has what I believe to be the best view of Pokhara and the Phewa lake. Definitely the best place to stay when visiting Pokhara!

The way I went was to take the bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and then a taxi from the bus station to the hotel. The hotel has a pick-up service from either the airport or the bus station that you can arrange for ahead of time.
It is also possible to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, or you could hire a private car. The bus is the cheapest way, but it takes 8-10 hours depending on road conditions. Try to get a seat on the right side for the best views. You can get a bus ticket at any of the travel agents, and they will also show you where the bus station is located.
Hope this helps,
Keith
