Very nice clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. The money exchange at reception was as good if not better a better rate ($AU) than any of the specialist money changers. Great breakfast in the restaurant.

Hotel Holy Himalaya's location is very strategic. It is very near to Thamel shopping areas. The room is clean and hot water supply is good. There is balcony for the room. Breakfast is quite good as well.

Very good hotel down town. The shop and restaurant are very close. It's quiet place for a hotel in town. I think one of the best price/quality . And the peaple who work in the hotel are very nice too.

Osum service and help Great central place to sights, shops and local markets.. Loads of bonuses to stay... We had two nights and two different rooms...We preferred the smaller room as more compact for two and easier to heat when it got cold...I liked the water refills available for guests to help themselves too and the osum barista readily available...

Our two night stay here was inclusive of a tour package. It is not a hotel I would pick for myself otherwise as it was very basic and I don't think it's 3 star standard. I would compare it to a backpackers lodge. A stay here retails for about 40 bucks a night with breakfast. PROS: The room is large...

We had a trip to Nepal for an Everest base camp trip. This hotel was booked by the travel company so we had no choice, it is situated in a little side street a 5 minute walk from the main shopping area. It's noisy out front from around 5am with businesses crashing shutters up and down and as a popular...

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at Hotel Holy Himalaya, that was pre-booked as part of a tour. Whilst the staff were friendly and hospitable, the rooms were very basic. There were no toiletries provided, the sheets had not been bleached clean and therefore were marked with previous guests residue. Also if you required a same day laundry service...

Hotel Holy Himalaya is a comfortable and convenient hotel located just off Amrit Marg about a 15 minute walk from Kathmandu Durbar Square. Prices are reasonable, an adequate breakfast is included, the staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are large and bright and heating (in this cold winter) is adequate. The sound and weather insulation are both done...

Stayed here as part of Himalayan Social Journeys tour of Nepal. Location is excellent in heart of shopping district and showers warm. What sets this hotel apart is the " go beyond the call of duty" front office service. Examples include helping us track down a rug factory at 7.45 pm and then getting the hotel driver to take us...
