Exactly halfway between Durbar Square and the tourist area of Thamel. It is inside, in a street with little traffic, away from the traffic and noise of Kathmandu, so you can sleep. The varied buffet breakfast can be eaten in a very nice garden. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom is large but not everything works (the hairdryer for example, some burnt out light bulbs...) Free WiFi but it can't reach the whole hotel. With a little more attention it would be a 5 star hotel.

We stayed here for 7 nights over three periods. The hotel was fantastic, the staff superb, the food really good. The rooms and the entire hotel were lovely, really quiet and peaceful although so close to the bussling city centre. Very clean, too.
The manager was also incredibly helpful and prompt in replying to our emails before we went.
Highly recommended!

Hotel in the heart of the city of Kathmandu, you can reach any strategic point of the city on foot. Rooms not very bright but furnished in a traditional way. Everything is clean but attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the towels and sheets, which are a little yellowed. Buffet breakfast, quite varied. I recommend it to those looking for a logistically perfect solution but without luxury.

+1
We spent the last two nights of our tour here, unfortunately a little sick. The staff always brought the food we had chosen to our room and were very friendly and accommodating. The location is good, you can walk to the old town. The rooms are nice, even have a hairdryer, but no safe. We felt very comfortable.

Well located in the tourist zone, but off the main street noise. That said, other things going for including nice decor, comfortable rooms, outdoor spaces on each floor, and a sort of ground floor garden. Very kind staff. Included breakfast was adequate.

We stayed there twice, once we arrived at Kathmandu for 2 lights and the other when we were going to back home. The most important thing about it was cleanness and Cozy. Very nice and quiet place at thamel area with very amiable friendly staff. I really enjoyed the time being there.

The hotel is very close to the Thamel, the most touristic area of Kathmandu. The location is very nice.
Regarding the hotel, it offer the basic services and I would say that it has a lot of potential that is not explored. It has nice varandas which could be used as need terraces but it`s empty.
We we arrived, it was very cold, the heater was not working, quickly they moved us to another room.
Again, a good property, nice staff but it could have a better quality.
I would come back.

This is my go-to hotel when volunteering annually at an orphanage in Kathmandu. The hotel is spotless and the staff is courteous and helpful. They arrange for both our pick-up at the airport and taxis daily. The rooms are spotless and spacious and the showers are consistently hot! The hotel is well located near the center or Thamel and set off the street so it is relatively quiet. The attractive courtyard is a wonderful place to relax and have a drink at the end of a busy day.

This hotel is in a quiet bylane and provides a calm, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, though is is just a stone's throw away from noisy and busy Thamel. The service is very attentive and prompt. The only hitch I faced was the lack of wi fi for 3 out of the 5 days I stayed there. Despite repeated requests (and promises to set it right), the wifi never became operational till I checked out!! The rooms are large, clean and have very good furnishings. Also, the property has no lifts!! So if you are not used to climbing, take a lower floor.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our property, your comments are very much valued. We are extremely sorry about the Wi-Fi issues you encountered during your stay. This however shouldn't mean we are not following up with our guests. It's important to know that we as a hotel care about your concerns . It is disappointing and something we need to continuously monitor with our staff . We hope you decide to give us another chance in the future, and will look forward to your return.
