We stayed there twice, once we arrived at Kathmandu for 2 lights and the other when we were going to back home. The most important thing about it was cleanness and Cozy. Very nice and quiet place at thamel area with very amiable friendly staff. I really enjoyed the time being there.

Was there with friends this time and it was a third for my husband n I... another well recommended hotel coz after years it mantained the coziness and also the staffs were always courteous n friendly...and the manager also arrange day trips for us...

We stayed here for 7 nights over three periods. The hotel was fantastic, the staff superb, the food really good. The rooms and the entire hotel were lovely, really quiet and peaceful although so close to the bussling city centre. Very clean, too. The manager was also incredibly helpful and prompt in replying to our emails before we went. Highly recommended! Rob and Wendy

This has been my second stay at Mandala Boutique and it never disappoints. Lovely decor throughout. Staff is very attentive to needs and professional. Location is also fantastic. You are in Thamel but it's very quiet. Hot showers and heat/aircon in the rooms. I will return again!

Hvae been staying here twice during my last trip and it is a quiet and clean hotel. The rooms and the bath rooms are well spaces and equipped. The internet is ok in the lobby and the first floors, on 4th it was not so good but well enough.

Excellent hotel located very next to Thamel, perfect place away form the crowded area, yet very close, just 5min away. The hotel do provide very authentic feeling with great service. The people there are friendly and welcoming.

The final hotel in Nepal , as part of our trip to India-Nepal .. The rooms are clean & shower(the best of our entire trip) Staff very friendly ... Hotel is very close to the area called Thalen... Which is known for the fake stuff you can buy here..

I enjoyed my stay at Mandala Boutique Hotel a lot. It’s located right in the tourist centre but it’s more quiet and peaceful than other places in the area. The hotel is decorated in a very loving way. Lots of paintings and beautiful lightning. There’s a small garden and terraces on each floor to sit and rest in the evenings. The breakfast buffet is good and the food in the restaurant delicious. We are very thankful to stay in this lovely place.

One of the best hotels in thamel area. The best for me personally. I stayed here for 5 days. Hardly 5 minutes walk from the main area. It is only for the first time you might find it difficult to reach there but you can always use the map to navigate. Since thamel is the main party place here, its always crowded and noisy specially on the weekends. If you like to party alot but still want to sleep peacefully and wake up fresh the next morning, this is the place to be. The rooms are very neat and clean with comfortable beds. Prompt room service. Every floor has an open sitting/smoking area. Full marks to the house keeping for they always had my room clean whenever i returned to the hotel. The food is really good and will not disappoint. The guy Chandra in the restaurant will make sure you get served well, very sweet and humble. Every staff here is courteous, very well mannered and always ready to help. Total value for money provided you are good at getting the best deal ;) If i am ever coming back to Kathmandu and have to stay near thamel area, this will surely be my first choice :)…
