Stayed in this hotel as part of a tour, returned twice as part of the tour. A small and comfortable hotel and staff were great. The food was sensational, no need to go out to Thamil, even though it was only a 10 minute walk. Chef is outstanding. Even if you don’t stay here, try the food.

The best part of our stay here was the staff. They were all very helpful, pleasant and polite. Our room on the 5th floor was accessible by lift or stairs. It was a twin room, clean comfy beds, kettle and tea/coffee provided. Bathroom was clean with shower and plenty of towels. Breakfast was buffet style with limited variety but if not on b&b there is a wider menu available. Didn’t sample the lunch/evening menu. The entrance to the hotel could be off putting if unsure of what to expect from Nepal but inside was clean and friendly. It’s about a ten minute walk to Thamel along busy roads.

I only stayed at the hotel one night and the accomodations neat, clean, comfortable and cozy. I did wish the room door had a dead-bolt lock. What I did find remarkable was the customer service. Everyone was very friendly, pleasant and professional. I realized I managed to leave one of my bags at the airport after going through airport security. Suman Rana was very dilligent in contacting the airport police desk to determine whether or not my bag was there. She made sure she reached the correct group, confirmed my bag was there andleft her name with the person she'd spoken with so I could verify I reached the correct officer at the airport. Suman also told me the best time to return to the airport to avoid traffic, got a taxi for me and a driver who just happened to be kind enough to wait for me during the time it took for me to retreive my items. Thanks Suman and Rama Inn!!

I stayed there in July 2019, the rainy season in Nepal, so few guests stayed in the hotel. Hotel provides service for fair price you can expect reading info at TripAdviser, Booking or Agoda web sites. Location is close to touristic Thamel from one hand, and it is not noisy from other hand. Clean spacy rooms, decent breakfast (non bufet style at this season) and very helpful reception staff: they helped with orientation, provided taxi at fair rate, printed out boarding passess. Storage service and safe box are also available. All in all, I would recommend Rama Inn to stay in.

Lumle Classic Nepal 14 - 25th June 2019 Great value for money!!!10 days Bed & Breakfast with 2 days all inclusvie at the Chitwan Crown Resort. Humble and great Guide leads. Started with Airport pick by Lumle Rep Sanjaya Basnet entertained with local knowledge on route. Rama inn, Kathmandu, Hotel Mount View, Pokhara, Chitwan Crown Resort, Himalayan Hotel - great hotel staff service to please at every opportunity to make stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent Guide Leads - 16June: Kathmandu Sightseeing: Guide – Yogita Hada 18June: Pokhara Sightseeing: Guide – Yubraj Adhikari 24June: Nagarkot – Kathmandu: Guide – Suman Shrestha I cannot Honestly say enough of these leads with local knowledge and passionately going through all in great detail - very well done. These are very genuine personal views and a fantastic place to visit, especially after the 2015 Earthquake and how quickly all heritage sites have been restored to their former glory days in a very short few years!! Definitely recommend to all.
