We traveled for two weeks in Nepal with 3 overnight stays at this hotel on 3 separate nights in three different rooms. All three rooms were very restful large rooms, nice bathrooms, great staff, good food. The every morning breakfast has incredible variety. A tip-- ask for pressed coffee if you don't like instant Nescafe. Also have a drink and/or...

Gokarna is a peaceful retreat on a forested ridge. Rooms are large, well appointed and clean. The resort has a golf course, full service spa, restaurants and bar (including a fireplace) and the best gift shop too! The entire staff is professional, friendly and most helpful. You are always greeted with a soft-spoken, "Namaste". We cannot emphasize enough how much...

We spent two nights in the calmness of a surrounding forest and golf course almost in the heart of Kathmandu, just a few hundred metres away. This is a first class resort with the amenities of a golf course, with views of ice capped peaks along the fairways, surrounded by forest populated with herds of deer and monkeys. Hard to...

Beautiful resort, spacious and nice room, big bathroom. Breakfast buffet with a variety of dishes and wonderful service. I had a very relaxing stay. Located around 40 minutes from the city, but that is not a problem at all. They have many activities organized.

we stayed at the Gorkana Forest Resort for 4 nights in November after trekking in the Everest region and it was a welcome quiet resort to relax. Hidden on a hill top in a forest above the noisy, dusty, hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Our room (229) was plenty big enough for all our luggage with a large bathroom. The...

Spent three nights at Gokarna Forest Resort after a gruelling trek through the Annapurna ranges and it was a wonderful experience. Rooms are large - we had the bonus of a balcony, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed, clean and very western (a huge plus after staying in mountain guesthouses for the past 5 nights). The staff...
