Located just near Shechen Monastery at Boudha - the main Buddhist area of Kathmandu - Dragon Guesthouse is the favourite residence of many Dharma practitioners following courses and attending teachings in the area. It provides you with a peaceful, comfortable stay at a very reasonable price. The veggie restaurant of Dragon is famous for its good quality which explains why this guesthouse is also considered a valued starting point amongst those who want to start their trekking in good shape.

An excellent guesthouse in a peaceful, quiet location in Bouddha. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are incredibly friendly - they will go far out of their way to help you. Highly recommended!

Clean an very nice place. Quiet area and close to boudhanath stupa. Nice people in the reception area, really good service. Perhaps little bit expensive, and be carefull because they ask you for tips when you are paying, not while you are negotiating the price... any way a good

This family run guest house was very welcoming, comfortable, and clean. I stayed here for 5 nights on my second trip to Kathmandu. This is way cleaner, quieter and nicer than equally priced places I stayed and saw in Thamel. The onsite restaurant serves a variety of simple,

If you travel together or by your own and want to focus on your spiritual practice this guesthouse is highly recommended. Same if you are the more quiet type and just want to chill. Owned by a family of practitioners from the Mustang area. With garden and a vegetarian kitchen.

It is located in the interiors of the settlement, thus far away from the hustle bustle of Boudha. It is quiet and peaceful. In fact most people over there are students of dhammakiti or Buddhism there. Silence is a practice there.

"During winter time ask for a room on the sunny side of the building."
"Rooms on the top floor have great view"
"Be careful, the lady is a cheater. Check the rooms before and they can be very loud."
"The road that leads to this place from main gate at Boudha is a long winding narrow, broken road. Be prepared to drag the belongings for a while on a difficult stretch. Only recommended if you like the quiet. Not if you want to be in the middle of things."
"Take ear plugs to block out the neighbour!"
