Gaju Hotel location is in happening surrounding. Service is coordinal and costing is much convenient compare to service and facilities. Stuffs are very helpfull. I loved my visit for 6 night here with my family.
I really feel comfortable this hotel I stay in room no 307 . One of lady who was spoke with me while booking she took quick result and I booked my room there . Price wise hotel is great and comfortable
Best hotel in the heart of market Town! A nice oasis away from the streets! Awesome breakfast buffet. Great service and large rooms. The staff are very helpful.highly recommended. Me and a friend had lunch on the rooftop restaurant and it was very tasty, the staff were very friendly, and was very good value. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed here for a few days and it was so central and easy. Right in one of the main streets in Thamel. The staff were really nice and helpful, even giving us a free upgrade as it was out of season and quiet. Rooms were large and comfortable.
Excellent room, location, food and staff we really enjoyed one week stay in this hotel Breakfast is excellent and delicious. Room service is excellent Accessibility to Bazar is near hardly one KM There is nice PUB near to this hotel LOD Lord of the drink
We stayed here before and after our ABC trek. The thing to know is that every room is different (between our friends and us, we had 4 different rooms) with different set-ups, WiFi connection availability, smells, sounds, nice-to-have items (kettle, refrigerator, safe, etc.). The front desk was helpful in accommodating an extended stay and we had fresh bottled water in our rooms every day. However, our biggest issue was the poor WiFi connection in the rooms themselves. You typically have to stand in the hallway to get a good enough connection, and even then, it isn’t great. I would stay here again though and appreciate the kindness of the staff.
This hotel has a nice location, but with the nightclub right next door it was very noisy until nearly 5:00 a.m. even in the middle of the week. It seems to depend largely on the room you get so if you book here make sure you get something in the front of the hotel or don’t plan to get any sleep. The breakfast was great and the service wonderful. It is also located right in the central Thamel district with lots of shopping and restaurants.
Stayed here apart of the trekking with ace the himalayas. Nice big rooms with good air-conditioning. Breakfast was filling. The staff were nice and okay with keeping bags while we were on the trek. Would recommend.
We stayed at Gaju Suite both before and after our Everest Base Camp Trek. The two nights prior we stayed in room 310 which was noisy with music to the wee hours from the upstairs night club on the roof. The two nights after the trek we were in a room at the front of the building on level two. It was a much bigger room with a private balcony and was really quiet - it was perfect for us to rest after the trek. Complimentary Breakfast was good, we had both the Indian and Continental. Really Central location in the main Tourist District of Kathmandu, walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants.
This hotel was much more impressive than I would have thought, given how cheap the rooms are! Firstly, the hotel has an excellent location, right near all the shops and restaurants in Thamel! The room was huge and very clean! The bed was also very big and comfortable! Negatives: - there is no shower curtain or glass next to the shower so when you have a shower the entire bathroom, including toilet, gets wet. - hot water is quite slow to come, but when it does come, it lasts. - hotel is located in a very busy part of town, and on a weekend you can hear music from the nearby night club playing all night. - the initial room we were in was very Smokey, but our subsequent room was fine. - fridge in the room didn't work. - breakfast buffet is very small with limited options.
