This was the only 'luxurious' hotel that our driver recommended and took us to on our trip to Dhulikhel. Since it was cloudy we couldn't get much of a view but one could see the mountains very well on a clear sky day. So, we decided to have our lunch. The service and the attempt from the staff was good...

My wife and I stayed three nights in December, 2013. We had three spectacular day hikes from this hotel as the starting point. The staff were great, helpful & informative. The dinners were excellent, as was the service.

Stayed here one night at start of a trek. The welcome was fantastic, the rooms basic but good. Good meal in the restaurant which they kept open late for our delayed arrival. We were woken at dawn next day as agreed so we could see the super view of the mountains from the hill above the hotel. It was an...

My 13 year old daughter, and good family friend, just spent 2 weeks in Nepal. In between Kathmandu and trekking, we spent a couple of days and one night at this spectacular property. The grounds are breathtaking, the rooms very clean, the food excellent, and the service impeccable. The sunrise and sunset from their upper property across the Himalaya is...

I stayed here when traveling with a group in Nepal. The rooms were so clean.. and there was hot water if even only for a few hours each day! The cultural show in the evening was wonderful! We woke up early to see the sunrise over the Himalayas and it was worth getting up super early! I would highly recommend...

We ended up staying here one night after Dwarika's delayed their opening. Our travel agent advised us it was 3-star, and that set our expectations. It actually exceeded our expectations for that level, and we'd recommend it for anyone looking for a clean respite from the chaos of this area. The cottages are unique, but fairly basic, but most importantly...

Lovely chalets in well kept garden with colouful flowers. Food is basic and not good for vegetarians - was offered a nasty veg cutlet! Some of the rooms seem to have had a refurb and have nicer bathrooms as opposed to the others which were basic. Though it was pleasant, there is nothing there, nothing to do and no electricity...

Stayed here for 6 nights October 2012 (or 2069 in Nepalese calendar!). Was taking part in a charity house building project half an hour drive away in the Kavre district so this place was ideal. It took about an hour to an hour and a half to get to from Kathmandu. The hotel is set in the most beautiful grounds...

It's quite a climb up to this hotel from the road. And rooms are spread out in the extensive grounds. So you need to be fit and able to stay here. But the flowers are superb. Hundreds and hundreds of pot plants on the restaurant terrace, in front of the rooms, everywhere. Quite superb. Someone has put a great deal...
