This is a hidden gem among other high priced and bigger named hotels. From arrival to departure the place is superb. The staff cannot do enough for you and will help with any queries you have. The facilities are again superb and not too in your face. This is a place I would definitely recommend if you are ever travelling to Kathmandu. Thanks Manaslu for a memorable stay.

Hotel was well situated with shops & restaurants nearby. Our room (315) was large and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and garden. There was a wedding on our 2nd day there which was lively, colourful and very noisy but fun to watch. Fortunately it didn't go on into the night!! the staff were very friendly and helpful. No safe in the room (although we understood there should have been one in the cupboard) so having to use the one in the lobby was not ideal but OK for couple of days. Food in the dining room was good. Overall, a good spot for a few days sightseeing in Kathmandu.

I really enjoyed being here because it was so beautiful and every detail made me feel I was really steeped in Nepali culture. The room was very comfortable and functional. The only drawback was that the wifi was not up to par, so it can be a good place to live life offline for once.

Needs a lot of improvement. The water had a very strong methane gas odor which gave us a headache. The mirror fell off on its own, no basic amenities such as toothbrush. Too expensive for what it had to offer. Good breakfast. Very kind bellman.

Enjoy traditional Nepalese hospitality in the heart of Nepal's bustling capital Kathmandu. Comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms, tranquil gardens incorporating pool. Very friendly staff, everready with a smile and a Namaste. Throughout the hotel the design and structure reflects the local culture. Well priced and highly recommended.

Having just returned from an Everest Base Camp trek, any half decent hotel will feel like luxury, and the Hotel Manaslu did just that. Compared to other city centre hotels it was very good. The room was comfortable and the public areas were very nice. We enjoyed a pre dinner drink in the outside bar area. Breakfast was excellent (although again my opinion may have been coloured by the contrast to the previous couple of weeks), and the staff were very friendly. I thought the location was very good. It was an easy walk of about a mile to Thamel. Overall a very good hotel, and I would happily stay there again.
