I stayed in the Hana hotel for 3 nights, the first two before the EBC trek and one after returning from the trail. I left my big luggage in the hotel with no problems and all safety. The staff is undoubtedly the best part of this hotel, always friendly, respectful, sympathetic and politely ready to help. The room I stayed were with the windows to the front street, which caused some noise during the night and dust. The showers had abundant hot water, which was a relief after the long hike to the Everest Base Camp.

If you are tourist for changing visa, a hiker...this place is the best because its in the heart of thamel. You cant complain anything because you just need a place to stay and get comfortable with your night sleep. Aside from that, they have a very nice and generous staff.

This hotel had excellent location in Thame not to away from the centre and the main road. There was an excellent Indian Tandoori restaurant next to it. The rooms were quite old but clean. The bedding was new and nice. The complimentary breakfast was made to order and awesome. The staff was co-operative and helpful. Overall a nice stay.

Good location at the edge of Thamel. Local restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Rooms are cleaned daily if you wish so. TV and free WiFi. I have been coming in this hotel for more than 10 years. I have been looking at different hotels but it is the best choice at this rate. Rooms have just been repainted.

Very affordable rooms, staff are friendly and helpful. Rooftop gardens. The balcony rooms above the road have a nice view into the courtyard of a big temple. You can see all the cookwear people have donated as offerings nailed to the outside of the temple. Most of the clientele are Nepali people so they always seem pleased to have a foreigner visiting. It is a budget place so don't expect 5 star conditions but if you're on a budget you won't find better value than Hotel Hana. It's also handy to the excellent Revolution cafe and close to the Thamel shopping streets without being so close that you get blasted with nightclub music all night. Hot water 24/7, Good wifi.
