I stayed at the Hotel Annapurna for two nights or three days at my business meeting. Staff, Service, Locations, Garden, Pool is great. Inside the rooms, the bed were small and could be improved. Highly recommended for meetings and conferences.
the service was excellent! We were staying in this hotel during the Coronavirus acute crisis, we felt very safe as they measured temperature of all guests every day! The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the service is one of the best I ever experienced in an hotel!
We stayed at the hotel for a week and had an excellent experience. The rooms are very comfortable, the restaurants are exceptional and the staff is not only professional, but above all very nice and attentive. The staff, especially Mrs Singh, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and everyone was super helpful. A week after we left, during a long layover in Kathmandu, they took us in for a couple of hours even though they were closing the hotel during coronavirus lockdown. We can’t appreciate it enough. Thank you for everything, we will not forget it and dearly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you!
Had a brilliant 5 night stay. Staff very helpful & friendly. Room was excellent with Nepali modern finishes. Breakfast buffet was good. Tsering was especially helpful. Definitely will stay again next trip.
I stayed here for only one night from the 5th - 6th of March 2020 on a solo trip. Upon arriving, I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist and the duty manager, Tsering. They recognized by IHG status and gave me an upgrade to a newly renovated room which was beautifully done with a mix of local heritage aesthetics and contemporary functions. After sharing that I have a late flight on the next day, they tried their best to give me a complimentary late check out till 3 pm instead of the usual 2 pm and also made recommendations and what I could consider for my itinerary to best make use of the time in Kathmandu and the hotel. I decided to add breakfast to the stay and it was an additional 10 USD instead of 12 USD at the restaurant itself. The buffet spread was decent. The cheese variety was good and includes Yak cheese, although the blue cheese could be better and it would be nice if there are condiments placed alongside with the cheese. The live egg station and hot food options are okay too. I also had a Tenderloin Beef Burger and Mushroom Soup from the room service menu for dinner and it was quite okay. Fries were fine and they even served bread with butter along with the dishes. The hotel uses a gym that is part of a fitness club, which can get very crowded in the morning. There is also no covered walkway between the fitness club & spa and the hotel which could be an issue during rainy weather. The hotel is relatively quiet due to its location in Soaltee. It is quite a distance away from the popular Thamel or Durbar Square in Kathmandu. It is about 500 NPR for a taxi ride but it is also walkable : roughly 30 minutes on a leisurely stroll which cuts through some quiet neighbourhoods or a market near the river. In early March, the weather's not too hot to walk back and forth the hotel. After check out, the staff were helpful to keep my luggage and even a cheese that I bought in the chiller. Tsering, the duty manager from the day before was also very helpful and getting coffee and food orders when I decided to spend the time at the bar area to do some work instead. This is also the Covid-19 period, I think for improvements, the hotel could implement further precautionary measures during this period with more hand sanitizers around the hotel and temperature checks at the entrances. Other that that, overall, it was a good stay and the service was the best part of it.…
