Great hotel in a perfect location in Kathmandu. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Anything we wanted or needed they were happy to arrange. They picked us up from the airport and on arrival checked us in very quickly and changed money for us. There is a little bar and restaurant attached to the hotel who are happy to fix absolutely anything at any time it seemed. Breakfast is included and is quite satisfactory. We actually wished we’d just eaten there all the time because we had a meal in one of the restaurants in the town and were violently ill. The hotel were very concerned and kept bringing us water and checking how we were. There is a rooftop pool and terrace area but we didn’t swim as it wasn’t quite warm enough. The room itself was very large with a comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. The shower was sometimes a bit inconsistent but they did warn us. The hotel organised trips for us to the cable car and to Nagarkot for very reasonable amounts. The location is perfect for wandering around the many shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location in Thamel: Secure premises slightly set back from the street; The staff and the Director are very friendly and attentive; The rooms are spacious ... sanitary / shower room very clean The premises are suitable for: either relaxing (Roof with swimming pool - 360° view - sun loungers/sunbathing ) or immersive discovery on foot of Ktm with its streets/streets or visits to tourist sites (Durbar square etc ) small shops nearby characteristic of this unlikely city; Diversified breakfasts - excellent with a Mr eggs performing well with good omelets and/or Fried eggs. Lots of vegetation in pots / bins pleasant to the view and very well maintained

During our tour we visited this hotel twice and spent a total of three nights there.
Location and surroundings: The hotel is centrally located in Thamel, the tourist heart of Nepal's capital. There are numerous shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The gastronomic scene in Kathmandu can keep up with international standards and the price-performance ratio is very good.
Rooms: The rooms are attractively designed. As is usual almost everywhere in Nepal, free bottles of drinking water are provided and there is a refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. The only disadvantage is the shower in the bathroom without a curtain or shower cubicle, as the entire bathroom gets wet when you shower.
Service: The staff were always extremely friendly and attentive.
Gastronomy: The breakfast was very good and varied for a hotel of this size and price range. In addition to continental offerings such as toast and jam, there were also daily changing Indian/Nepalese dishes.
Pool: There is a small pool on the roof with a view of Kathmandu.
5 points due to the good price-performance ratio.

Hidden gems hotel in Kathmandu. The first night in Kathmandu, I stayed at another hotel and the lights went out throughout the city, the hotel generator was not active, so I finally moved here. Access to the hotel is a bit narrow, but inside it is spacious. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are clean, the AC is cold, the food in the restaurant is delicious and not expensive, the staff is very kind and attentive to our needs. At 7pm, when I was hungry, ordered chicken fried rice, fast service, delivered to the room in less than 20 minutes. And there is a swimming pool on the roof top. Can be used to cool down after long trekking in Nepal

The hotel is very beautiful, it smells amazing! The food is very tasty, there is diversity including for vegetarians. The bed is very good, I slept for 14 hours continuously 😂. I think the hotel is new, because everything is very modern, the linens seemed untouched, extremely white. Wifi works great.

The Divine Katmandu Hotel located in Thamel, walking distance to Durbar Square was a great find. It's a newly built six story hotel with elevator. I stayed here twice, 10 days before and 3 days after my EBC trek. Both rooms were clean, well maintained and spacious enough. Good lighting and bedside outlets. Beds were very comfortable. Cable TV. The delicious breakfast buffet included many hot and cold choices and an onsite egg cooking station. At other times the kitchen had a diverse and delicious lunch and dinner menu. The roof top infinity pool was great for soaking my tired body. The staff may very well be the largest asset. Friendly, helpful and caring. The General Manager and owner Rudra makes a point of meeting and greeting guests by name. Good value, great experience, would stay here again, highly recommend.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Divine Kathmandu! The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were so so comfortable. For sure the best night sleep I’ve had in Nepal. The restaurant’s food was amazing and super reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast had so much variety and they offered to make you a fresh omelette/fried as well as the other food which was already out. I ended every morning feeling very full which is what you want from a buffet breakfast! Critically what makes a hotel experience so good is the staff!!! They were so kind, accommodating, friendly and made us feel so comfortable to ask if we needed anything! The waitress ladies were amazing too. Also not to forget, the infinity pool and rooftop seating area has the most gorgeous view of the whole city. Especially worth taking a trip up at night time… just amazing!

Lovely hotel. Arriving tired and dusty after 9 hour road trip from Pokhara, checking in was a welcome relief. The reception staff are very friendly and efficient and quickly had the group of 7 in our rooms. We appreciated the welcome fruit juice drink with Rude the manager/owner on the roof top (followed by a few beers🤭) There is a nice plunge pool to enjoy and plenty of tables and chairs to relax around. I was in room 505 and it was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast has a wide selection of cooked side dishes and an egg station for fresh cooked omelettes et cetera. The highlight for me was sitting with Yadab, the brother of Rude enjoying a coffee and hearing of his family story ... and his personal story of being a porter, then guide (97 days on one trek) and is now involved with hotel as well. I wish every hotel experience was as friendly and caring as this. Thankyou so much Yadab, Rude and staff!!

Located in the middle of Thamel, Durbar Square is a 15-minute walk away. Rooms are clean and very nice. Bathroom is clean and everything is wet after a shower, warm water comes after about a minute. Balcony is inviting to sit. Pool and roof terrace are very nice. Breakfast is fantastic, the omelette is amazing and the Indian dish, which changes daily, is a dream. Very friendly staff who understand what is important to western tourists.

The hotel is centrally located in Thamel however in a quiet corner. The owner and all the staff are very nice and ready to assist. The rooftop pool is a very nice asset.
One can tell the hotel is new but the owner needs to pay attention to small things that are already starting to show such as stains on the furniture etc. Unfortunately our first room had an intense smell if sewage and we got moved. The sewage smell was still there and we bought airfresheners, but i didn't help much. The bowls for breakfast were mainly empty every time we got there and not even cuttlery was available.
