Let’s star with the main point a traveler or guest expect from the place he or she is going to spend a time, the attention the personnel or staff give to you, at this respect I have to give Himalayan hotel five stars, since you arrive their reception you can feel the welcoming of the staff and during your stance they are compromised to make your stance a very pleasurable experience. The managers Amrit and Binod are always interested in provide you with whatever you need, say information for tours, local information, or any whims you have. Second point the premise, stone building with modern showers, air conditioning, wide windows, balcony, tea table, all this a few blocks away from the active area of Thamel. Mention apart deserve the spa /restaurant area. Very warm personnel await for you. Sauna, steam room, jacuzzi make this section a very enjoyable experience. And finally the money wise evaluation is highly positive for Himalayan hotel. It has been a really confortable and pleasurable experience to stay in Himalayan, thanks to all the staff, and definitely it’s a highly recommended hotel in Kathmandu. …

Clean, new and spatious rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Less than 5 minute walk from Thamel centre, but at the same time in a quiet zone, we never heard noises from traffic, horns or other forms of noise pollution. We also appreciated the kindness of the staff.

Very friendly staff, custom service at the restaurant, nice and clean rooms. Here is the best part about this hotel - We planned for 2 days stay in katmandu, 2 days in pokharaa and 1 day in nagarkot. we requested the hotel to arrange the cab & logistics for site visit at. The staff took care of all the logistics right from airport pickup on arrival To airport drop for departure including airport pickup/drop from Katmandu to Pokhara, vehicle arrangement for nagarkot with overnight stay, also arranged a guide at Pokhara!! Superb experience. The Hotel Staff also helped us to book a helicopter ride to Annapurna Base Camp, but due to bad weather air traffic controller cancelled the ride. Excellent service provided by Himalayan Suite Hotel staff.

Location of the hotel is perfect...ive been here a couple of times ....the problem is that there are drunks in and around the hotel and the hotel is in a dark alley and druggies loitering around... not safe...

The hotel is located very close to Thamel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In particular the manager Mr Binod was very helpful The breakfast was quite nice and the staff would prepare eggs as we wished for. The spa is also very nice with very good prices for staying in customers. There is a bakery behind the hotel and they bake very nice products

Clean and comfy hotel. The hotel staffs are nice and very friendly. Special thanks to Saroj who provided us extra assistance even after we have checked out and waited in the hotel lobby for our late night flight. Highly recommended hotel.

This was the first hotel I stayed at in Kathmandu. It wasn’t easy to find but it’s worth the search. Very clean rooms and comfy beds. Staff was really friendly! We had an issue with our booking through booking.com and they helped us solve it. We saved our luggage here during our trek and it was kept safe and sound in a separate room.

The receptionists Milan and Aswin were very helpful and always in a good mood. The rooms were nice, clean and so good after a long trek in the mountains. Breakfast was delicious, and the location of the hotel is ok. We could keep our bags in the reception all day.
