The service was Amazing 5star plus plus. Manager very helpful staff as well. Next visit to Nepal I will definitely be staying here. The little things as well was great. Like the scale in room to way my self before and after trek. The shops around here are very nice and variety of restaurants nice as well. Security and hot showers nice bed. Truly Amazing.

The rooms give you a feeling like you are in a Newari Home a typical nepali infrastructure. Rooms are big, immaculately clean spotless and the staff extremely friendly and helpful , theres nothing you can ask for more and the pizza of the cafeteria downstairs is just the best in Nepal.

I‘ll definitely come back to Road House, neat and clean, right in the central district. The staff is cordial, too. The room is spacious, with nice Nepali decorations. The atmosphere is relax. The food in the restaurant is good, too.

During my business trip in June 2023, I stayed at the Roadhouse Hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu. To say that my experience surpassed expectations would be an understatement. Right from the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was immediately struck by its impeccable cleanliness, well-appointed minimalist rooms, and meticulous attention to detail throughout the property. The rooms at Roadhouse Hotel are spacious, providing ample room for both work and relaxation. However, what truly captured my heart was the charming terrace with a view and seating area, which offer a tranquil environment to unwind after a long day of meetings. One of the highlights of my stay was the invigorating hot shower with its excellent water pressure. It was the perfect way to start each day, leaving me feeling refreshed and revitalized. The bathroom amenities provided were of the highest quality, with 'Biotique' products, and the towels were always clean. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness not just in the rooms but also in the common areas. I simply cannot speak highly enough about the Roadhouse Cafe, the hotel's restaurant. With its renowned wood-fired Italian cuisine, it truly hit all the right notes. The pizza and pasta served there were undeniably the best in Kathmandu, offering an authentic and delightful culinary experience. The staff at the cafe were incredibly friendly and attentive, always serving with a genuine smile. Even on busy weekends when the place was bustling, their level of service never wavered. I must also give special recognition to the exceptional Reception/Front Desk staff, particularly Astha Dhakal. Astha made sure that all my needs were met and went above and beyond to guarantee a comfortable stay. The overall warmth and friendliness of the staff created an inviting atmosphere that permeated the entire hotel. Moreover, the hotel's location in the centre of the tourist district was highly convenient, with easy access to nearby convenience stores and amenities. This made my stay even more pleasant and allowed me to explore the surrounding area with ease. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Roadhouse Hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu, whether it be for business or leisure. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness, spacious rooms, picturesque terrace, invigorating showers with excellent water pressure, and top-notch bathroom amenities all contribute to an exceptionally comfortable stay. The Roadhouse Cafe, with its delectable wood-fired pizza and pasta, along with the friendly staff and outstanding service, is an absolute gem. Without a doubt, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I eagerly look forward to returning on my future trips to Kathmandu. I stayed in the one of the rooms at the rooftop, I couldn’t open the doors to the terrace because the rooftop is highly infested with large rats that kept trying to get into my room. Even when I sat outside on the rooftop, rats ran over my foot!
