Recently, I stayed here for 2 nights and I really enjoyed the location centrally at Thamel and its hospitality provided by staff. They were always friendly and ready to help me make without any difficulty. The room was big and clean which make me a quite comfortable stay at Oasis. Highly Recommended!!!
I had a wonderful experience at the Oasis Kathmandu Hotel. The hotel has a great location next to other more expensive western hotels - which is a good sign you’re in a fantastic area. One of the two genuine North Face stores is just down the road. From my first night the manager Tulsi and staff went out of their way to address my every concern. Tulsi was especially helpful, as he helped me plan events throughout Nepal, not just Kathmandu. He was helpful arranging an Everest Helicopter Tour and city tour. All his recommendations were spot on and he’s a genuinely great person. I highly recommend staying at the Oasis!
This is a best place to stay in Kathmandu.every thing is very good.best location, best food, very nice staff very friendly people.Wi-Fi is working very nice.I love this place very much. I will request to everyone to stay this place.most important thing is very clean. Thank oasis Kathmandu team.
Stayed 4 nights in this mid-range hotel after a one week trip to Butwal. Location is one of the best in the tourist district just next to the Garden of Dreams. It is within a relatively quiet road with trees and greenery making it a visually relaxing location. Two of the main features of this hotel is comfort and cleanliness, both of which go hand in hand. Rooms, toilets, hallways, stairs, reception, and their restaurant are regularly cleaned giving guests a sense of excellent attention to hygiene. And when I mentioned comfort, I mean the room I stayed (301) was just so well appointed. Bed was super, a combination of firmness yet puts you in a relaxing feeling even for a person with an aching back like mine. The bed comforter did the job for me as I would put my air conditioning unit at 19C during sleep time. I always prefer a room that has 2 beds and while I originally booked for a double room, the upgrade exceeded my expectation. Oh, the toilet commode and shower sections are separated by the lavatory and a glass divider; I just love that arrangement. While I mentioned the two special features above, this is not to diminish the excellent service of the staff (reception, security personnel, restaurant staff, cleaners, and of course, the hotel manager). I know some of them by name but I refrained to mention here because I also want to give credit to those whose names I never had a chance to ask. This team is what makes this hotel work well. Finally, while I have given 5 stars, I would like to suggest that coffee packets and coffee creamer packets can be added to the amenities of the room. I suggested this for lactose-intolerant people like me who can’t drink coffee with milk. But that is only a very small issue in a big picture of excellence. Congratulations Oasis Kathmandu Hotel! You have made this guest a happy one. I look forward to seeing you all again when I return to Kathmandu.…
I had a wonderful experience at the Oasis Kathmandu Hotel. The hotel has a great location next to other more expensive western hotels. One of the two genuine North Face stores is just down the road. From my first night The Manager Tulsi and staff went out of their way to address my every concern. Tulsi was very helpful. Bathrooms and bedrooms kept very clean, maintained regularly. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, strong Wi-Fi, and top notch service around the clock. Location also great because you're not in the touristy crowd, but no far away at all. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great stay in Thamel.
Solo traveller that came to do EBC and stayed 5 nights total. Great location tucked away in a side street, but still in the heart of the trekking shops in Thamel. Also next door to the Garden of Dreams. Airport pickup was fine and staff at the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Always offering tea or coffee. Breakfast has good options and the food area is peaceful. The hotel kept my bags safe at reception during the trek. Rooms are very clean and have all facilities you could want. Slightly on the expensive side for Kathmandu, but definitely worth it.
Oasis honors its name, a home away from home with the boutique, exotic and diverse setting it should have being in the Kathmandu Valley. Tulsi Bhatta (+9779851190204) is not your typical manager, he goes above and beyond to make sure you are having the best time during your stay and in your travel explorations, while being safe. His team with Manita Didi, Samir, Newton, Bishnu, Arjun and even Bishnu in security all will take care of you as if you were a family. For so many years and times now Oasis has been my Kathmandu home. Along with value, this is also very conveniently located in Thamel, but without the noise. 🤗🧡
Stayed here before and after my trek - felt super comfy and was treated like family Breakfast in the morning is awesome and the food at the hotel is amazing as well! Definitely something I looked forward to after being on the trail for two weeks
Excellent hotel - friendliest staff. Brilliant stay with clean rooms! Tulsi, the manager, was fantastic and so helpful and friendly with any questions - restaurant staff and reception were also very helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and good!
What a spectacular stay. Manager is super amiable and accommodating. Breakfast and room service are healthy and delicious! Centrally located. Great beds & showers. Attentive staff. Beautiful quiet space. This is the only hotel I’ll ever stay at when I come back to Kathmandu!! Thank you Oasis!
