Very nice room (405), nice food and lovely staff. The staff appear quite nervous (perhaps it's me?) but they really shouldn't be and they smiled constantly which has to be a good thing. The hotel is on the edge of Thamel and within a few minutes walk of Durbar Square. The rooftop bar and pool area is lovely and there are few places I'd rather be with a beer.

Came to Kathmandu for 3 nights with a friend and chose to stay here after reading reviews. The hotel was clean and all staff were friendly. We were given complimentary transfers to and from the airport which we arranged by email a day before arriving and this was a great touch. Breakfast wasn’t anything amazing, had a cup of tea and a snack and was fine but went to a local cafe the other 2 days. Pool bar was nice on an evening with city views. Good location. Would recommend to anyone coming to kathmandu. Beds were comfortable and big, good room service options.

The staff are really helpful and attentive. The hotel is nice and modern but fairly cheaply built (you can hear the people in the next room going to the toilet!) The breakfast is a real let down; the pastries are old and dry, the hot food is absolutely disgusting, and the coffee is consistently cold. Better to avoid and go out for breakfast at one of the many good cafes nearby

Room Tip: Great place to stay in Thamel; as it’s centrally located but nice and quiet away from the noise....

The best thing about the hotel is the location. You get out of the gate and you are in the heart of Thamel the most happening place in KTM. The staff are kind and efficient and there is never a moment when you will feel unwanted. Breakfast is sumptuous and tasty and is served by smiling staff. I would have given 5 rating had it not been for the room with NO view whatsoever. The pic attached is the view from the corridor

We chose this hotel for our last night in Kathmandu and mainly because it had a large rooftop pool. This however ended up being the downside of staying here sadly. Room: Big, airy, clean, hot powerful shower and a comfy bed. Couldn’t have asked for more.. really lovely. Breakfast: Again a reason why we chose this, it had an adequate selection despite having entered the restaurant before opening kindly as we had an early flight. Thank you! It did the job! Location: In Thamel, busy and lively but quiet in the hotel - perfect! Pool: Oh the pool. Looks inviting doesn’t it? Sadly unless you wish to get hypothermia it was not enjoyable in the slightest. It was cold. I don’t mean a shiver, I mean full on Ice bath. I could barely breathe and my daughter that was so excited screamed and cried. Many guests would watch someone trying to enter the pool knowing they have also tried and probably failed to swim! Such a shame as it looked online very inviting. Overall a good hotel however to justify the higher price compared to others, heat your pool! Brrr!

Having just finished the 14 day Mt Everest Base Camp Trek that very morning, we opted to avail of the facilities at The Zen Spa & Healing Centre/Cocoon Spa on the 8th floor. Time & money very well spent. We opted for a 90 minute deep tissue message. It went so well, I even went for my 1st manicure in 5 decades. My sincere compliments to masseurs Saya & Sunita for their expertise. A very well recommended treat. We emerged brand new. Bliss.

Excellent hotel with great facilities. Definitely much better than a regular 3 stars hotel. It would be a 4 stars in Europe. The rooms are large and have a very confortable bed. The staff is very competent and listen to customers. A peaceful oasis in the middle of bustling Katmandu.

I stayed in boutique hotels for the most part of my trip then decided to stay in modern accommodation for 2 nights until departure. I’m glad I did; the comfort and relief I felt I didn’t realized I needed until I checked in at the hotel. My room and bathroom was spacious. Shower water pressure was excellent! Bathroom amenity were very good. The hotel has spa service which is convenient; I booked a head massage and cleansing facial upon check in which was much needed! The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view, my favorite place to relax and read after a full day excursion around Thamel. Food was good! It’s a mix of traditional and international food menu. The pool is just next to it with sun loungers and outdoor seating which was great; wake up early and view the sunrise from there and observe the city start waking up to a new day. Breakfast buffet option was very good. The restaurant is in the G floor but they have a little garden for outdoor seating and the hotel is located on a quiet section of Thamel so breakfast was enjoyable. The hotel is located within short distance 2-5 mins of the busier part of Thamel; very convenient. The Garden of Dreams was just 8mins walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The reception staff often engage me in conversation, enquiring about how my stay was. I will definitely stay there again!

Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to extend my stay in Kathmandu. I was staying at the Yak and Yeti but decided to make the move to the Mulberry. That was the right chioce. All the staff is extremely courteous, helpful and caring. They go out of their to make sure your every need is taken care of. Great rooftop pool, excellent food and the location can't be beat. 5 stars! I'll be staying here if I come back!
