A must visit place for nature lover, a hidden place in the middle of the nature .Quiet, serene and stunning view with good food, great hospitality and yes truly eco friendly concept. You will definitely feel very close to the nature. 👍
The lodge is located in a beautiful and secluded environment in the middle of nature. It is close to some of the key trekking trails in Annapurna but also offers beautiful day-hikes in some of the few places that are not yet commercialized in the region. You get a great view of Annapurna South and Machapucchre, the lodge is very sustainable and nature-friendly, and the staff is very friendly and excellent. I had a great time and I highly recommend the lodge to anyone who is looking for a nice time in the mountains, away from the hustle and bustle of the other commercial trails.
It was a very good accomodation also the view was beauthifull, however there are a lot of lyches but you get used tot that. Further the food was quite good only sometimes it was a bit spicy but overall the food was very good.
To get to the lodge you do a rather easy hike off-the-beaten-trek. Wonderful lodge with a fantastic view of the Annapurnas. Great eco lodge concept. Food was fantastic. The cottages are quite new with a lot of space.
This lodge one of the wonderful. Very nice and clean rooms here.Guys you have to visit ones again here, I would like to go again. This lodge more kind of made by wood so I really loved this lodge and very nice services. Thanks!
It is a beautiful lodge site with a nice staff. By nice weather you have a beautiful view on some mountains in the Himalaya. The tents and huts are good and the food is wel preparee by the chef and his collegues.
I planned to stay at the Kalsee Eco Lodge for one night but ended up staying there for 3 nights. Though the Lodge was little remote, it took one hour taxi (Rs1500) or bus ride from Pokhara to a village called Lumle, followed by one hour easy hike to the lodge, the Lodge sent a staff to receive me at Pokhara and accompanied there, this made my journey quite easy and enjoyable. The view of Annapurna was spectacular especially during early morning when the sky was clear. I enjoyed having breakfast with Mt Fishtail at the backdrop. Just so amazing! There were a few easy and pleasant trails around which could stretch my feet. Food was organic and fresh. The Lodge could arrange vegetarian food upon request. This was the first time I ate fresh ferns and mushrooms picked from the forest. A torch was provided so there was no problem walking around at night. The stars at night was another attraction to me. I enjoyed gazing the beautiful stars before having dinner. Thanks for the friendly owner, Chitra, for his warm hospitality to take me around and shared his stories about the local villages. I could feel that he really liked his village and would like to share it with others in great passion. I highly recommended this Lodge and I would stay there again. …
Really amazing eco place to stay. The lodge itself comfortable with great beds, hot shower through solar system and decomposting toilet. Very eco friendly. Great honest local food. Great staff. Fantastic hiking through area.
My stay at the Kalsee Eco Lodge was the highlight of my trip to Nepal! What a great experience to stay at this peaceful ecological paradise. Great food along with comfortable accommodations and knowing that it uses only solar electricity, self-composting toilets, and very little intrusion to the environment. The self-composting toilet did not smell and I had very hot water in the shower. It is a not-too-difficult hike to and from the lodge. The views at sunrise of Annapurna South, Mt. Fishtail and Mt. Huichuli were awesome! And there's a 15-minute hike to a local temple that I really enjoyed. I highly recommend staying at Kalsee Eco Lodge!
Kalsee Eco Lodge, is one the best Eco Lodge which can be model for up coming Tourism Industry. The is wonderful! Mt. Annapurna south, Mt. Huichuli and Mt. Fish Tails are right behind wall. I have enjoyed pretty much with view as well as hiking up from Lumle to Kalsee Eco Lodge then Back down to Kande Via Pothana and Australian Camp. Food is very much Organic and Healthy. I have best sleep of this Trip. It's like heaven and Extremely peaceful and Deep in Nature! Very much suitable for 2/3 days people. I will definitely Visit there again. Hospitality at Lodge is highly Appreciable. Proprietor Mr. Chtira Bahadur Gurung is professional and well managed.
