We topped and tailed our trekking trip at Maya Boutique. Lovely staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our need, for example, on a morning we had a very early start they packed us a little to-go breakfast package. Added bonus; they also had the best tea we tried in Nepal!

When we arrived in December we stayed at the ubiquitous Kathmandu Guest House, and left feeling disappointed. At the end of our stay we chose Maya Boutique, which was far better value and was a really superb choice. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating (taxi to airport at going rate, late check out and luggage storage) and the whole place was clean and warm. Located down a quiet side street, it’s perfectly placed to avoid the noise of Thames, but be close enough to enjoy everything you could need. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Maya Manor for 10 days while working with CECI and WECCSL in Nepal - This is a fantastic hotel with great rooms and food - Jimmy Carter stayed here in the 70's - Bathrooms are small and can get wet floors from shower run off but other than that a great room with lots of views - Court yard dinning with Breakfast buffet included - strange assortment of foods but something for all including an Omelet Bar and sushi (not kidding) - Plus The friendliest staff I have met in Nepal
